This was about a $850 project. Well these guys gave me a decent price to get me in the door. After a week of sitting in the same spot and no response, I went up there and he told me some bogus story stating the transmission needed to be rebuilt for $3500. I don't even think they looked at it. I could sense that he was feeding me a lie. So I got it towed to another transmission shop, who fixed the original problem for the $850. It didn't need to be rebuilt! They said it was normal wear and tear. I've been driving just fine for about three weeks now. There is a reason it looks like a vehicle graveyard in that place... is because nobody's vehicle is getting worked on, they are just sitting. The original owner built up a great reputation, the current staff has ran it into the ground. I hate to think of the people that they have taken advantage of over the years. These people are a prime example of why mechanics have a horrible reputation.

That shop had it done in a week, no issues. Now it's driving like it should've been from the start. I don't usually leave reviews, especially bad ones--but this needed to be said. We took it to a nearby shop, and they told us we needed a brand-new transmission--at a cost of nearly $9,000. Our hearts sank. We knew we needed a second opinion, so we asked around, and over and over we heard the same name: Dean. From the moment we met him, we could tell he was different. He didn't rush to diagnose the problem or try to sell us something we didn't need. Instead, he took the time to ride with my husband, listened carefully, and within 10 minutes he had a completely different opinion. He believed it was a simple issue involving a part that would cost around $150--not a transmission. When he finally had the chance to inspect it, he discovered it wasn't even a bad part. They checked out all my sensors on my truck to make sure nothing would tear up the transmission they rebuilt fir me. They had it ready exactly when they told me it would be done. Great customer service and friendly staff. Even parked it in a safe spot where I could pick it up after hours cause I had to work late. I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone.
