They sell candles for 15pounds each and notebooks for 9.99. i feel it is too expensive and the quality is not that good. I got a laura Ashley throw before and i felt it was nice but the same i could have got for half the price and was to scared to wash it in the machine as it said dry clean only, the shop is for people who can afford luxury items. The staff are nice and don't mind you looking and asking questions make it a nice place to pop in and look at the things they are selling.

The toys in the shop are a breath of fresh air, they are nearly all wooden &/or cloth toys ranging from imaginative play items such as wooden castles & farms with figures to the most beautiful craft packs to wooden board games, including some of the most ingenious educational games. I suppose their "get out of gaol free card" is: subject to availability. This sort of thing does more damage to a company's reputation than not offering something for free. I suppose the old maxim still holds true: "There's no such thing as a free lunch." :-)

At it's peak it was a proper department store with concessions selling musical instruments, computers, and all of the other things you would associate. It now carries perfumes and cosmetics, clothing, and a small homeware section. The perfum section competes poorly with the likes of Superdrug and the Perfume Shop, and the homeware section contains such a limited range of goods that the local Tesco eclipses it in usefulness. The price is average with much of the stuff available cheaper if you shopped around but you get a good deal on the bath items. The shop is usually quiet and is very well laid out to give a pleasant experience.
