WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT GET WEDDING DRESS ALTERATIONS DONE FROM ANDREA AT ZAXWEAR…read more I went to this business after being given a list of local seamstresses in the area of the shop I bought my beautiful wedding dress from. Andrea had my dress from early February until mid June, and I was charged over $370. I had her hem the length of the dress, adjust the shoulder straps, and cinch in the sides of the chest area so it would fit better.  This describes the "finished" alterations when she was done: -Instead of letting out the straps from the fabric (there was extra fabric for the straps below the stitching) to adjust them, she cut the straps which shortened the length of them so when she moved them further down in the back as I had originally  asked, it made the chest area ride up and sit awkwardly in the front.  -When she cinched in the sides she did not remove any fabric or boning, making it bulky and flare outward.  -She sewed the cups in so crookedly that when I got home with my dress I had to remove them.  -She didn't even cut a straight hemline. It literally looked like a child cut it and I had to fix this myself. BUT WAIT, IT GETS WORSE! When I contacted Andrea after getting home with my dress and noticing more and more details that were poorly done, I sent her a brief email describing some of things I was unhappy with. She sent me a response saying that if I wanted to bring the dress back in she would give me a new estimate! Shocked by her suggestion, I sent a follow up email which included photos, asking her if, given the length of time- almost 6 months- that she had my dress, it was truly her best work that she should now charge me more money for to fix. No response. I emailed her again after several days, stating how I was surprised I hadn't heard from her and how little time I had left. I asked her for a response. NOTHING. Seems to be a pattern of hers with other reviewers too. Honestly I'm just lucky to have found someone else to fix my dress. I literally had 12 days left before my wedding, the most important day of my life, when Andrea ghosted me and no other tailors or seamstresses were willing to even look at a garment which another person had worked on. The amazing and wonderful person who was able to help me fix everything with less than two weeks until my wedding had to figure out a way to lengthen the straps with what was left after they were cut so short, remove boning in the bodice which flared out, undo the horribly sewn cinch job Andrea did and correct it, and put in new cups that were the correct type/size.  Bottom line is Andrea didn't have a good understanding of how the dress was meant to fit my body. She took a ridiculously long amount of time to do a seriously bad job with the alterations. Then she decided to attempt to charge me more money to fix it and stopped responding to me when I brought these issues to her attention. Ladies, save yourself a major headache and don't go here!!!

She loves her work and puts her heart and soul into each dress that she designs. Not quite as exciting as a wedding dress, but perhaps longer lasting .... Andrea designed all of the pillows that in three different massage therapy practices over the last 15 years. My clients compliment them all the time! I'm also lucky to have fun (funky in a cool way) zaxwear pillows happily accessorizing my living room. It's true that you can't please everyone, but Andrea's work is certainly pleasing to me :).

I needed shoes for lyrical, jazz, ballet, and pointe. Shoes only last at most a year, so I was here often. They have a great selection of different types of shoes so you can find the one that fits you best. They are also very knowledgeable. When I needed my first pair of pointe shoes I was so excited. Only dancers will understand.... I came here and they sat me down and looked at my feet, measured them, had me stand and get into different ballet positions. They had me try on many different styles and brands. They kept encouraging me to take my time, move around in the shoes, etc. I was there for awhile, it was a process, but I appreciated it because I came out with a great first pair of shoes. They even set me up with the right kind of padding and tape, and showed my mom and I how to sew on the elastic and ties. It also always smells good in here..just a side note.

Honest, Fair, and Excellent from Start to Finish I cannot…read moresay enough good things about Richards Fuel and Heating. My furnace and A/C unit were 24 years old and had stopped functioning, so I began the process of getting estimates. The first estimate I received was for $23,000, and I was told the job would be very complex. Even getting that estimate took more than a month. A second company came out to look at the job but never ended up providing an estimate because they were too busy. I also called another company, but they could not even schedule someone to look at the job for another month. Then I called Richards Fuel and Heating, and I was thrilled by how quickly they responded. They came out the same week I called, and the person who looked at the job explained that it was actually a straightforward swap-out of the existing system. He was clearly experienced and had installed many systems over the years. He explained the plan clearly before he left and told me to expect the estimate soon. Their estimate came back before the week was over, neatly organized in a folder with information and specifications for the furnace they recommended for my home, the available space, and the replacement needs. Their estimate was $10,897, which was less than half of the first estimate I had received. Once I told them I wanted to move forward, they scheduled my installation date within two weeks. I have just written my final check to them, and I wanted to write this review so other people know what a wonderful business this is. They are honest, prompt, thorough, and hardworking, and they clearly take pride in doing meticulous work. I also appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were. At the last minute, I changed my mind and asked to have the outdoor compressor moved to a new location, which required scheduling an electrician for additional work. On the day of installation, they arranged for that to be done. I also asked to have the compressor moved again after it had already been set in place. Even though I know it was inconvenient, they handled the change kindly and professionally. Every worker was professional, experienced, and respectful of my home. The crew deserves special recognition: they were skilled, patient, respectful, and willing to go the extra mile even when I made last-minute changes. They cleaned up after themselves and did a fabulous installation. Today, during a heatwave, I am sitting in a cool, quiet, comfortable home because of the great work of Richards Fuel and Heating. As an added reassurance, when I later heard back from the second company that had not been able to provide an estimate in time, I explained that I had chosen Richards because I needed the system installed quickly. When they asked which company I had gone with and I told them, they said I would be in good hands. They told me they had known Richards for many years and could 100 percent recommend them. That confirmed what I already knew from my own experience.

My best four letters for her" "R-u-d-e"!! When we got flooded out during the monsoon summer of '23 (on the 4th no less) we needed service since the burner was submerged and was told on the AM of the 5th no-one was avail and serv. mgr was off...and after three more hot-waterless days a guy shows with no clue what the system was with no parts. Well, the NEXT DAY Dead River Oil was here immediately after my visit to set up an account, showed up minutes after I got back (!) left with my GD Riello burner in hand, got needed parts OVERNIGHT and then I had a shower!! Bye Richie....at 90 you don't NEED my money anyway baby!!
