My daughter placed the order for balloons & I picked them up at the designated time - about three hours later. Yet, a quick & easy process. There's an extra cost for the weights. Great customer service as the team of employees worked effectively well to assist customers while assembling orders . Their Social Distancing measures was spot on amongst a clean store. The isles are well kept & organized providing a huge inventory of party needs galore. Now, getting the two 3 feet balloons & 30 regular balloons inside the truck was a feat of its own. Went to this location to look for decorations for a luau party. They had a whole aisle dedicated towards luau themed parties so it was perfect but most of the stuff was gone already! We looked for the little umbrellas that go in drinks and it was surprisingly the best price compared to other stores and online which was a plus. The store itself was really messy and had tons of gaps where product was missing/empty/never put out which I thought was weird. Also very disappointing that they don't have a single graduation balloon in their store. Not one. They had 2 congrats balloons that were not cute at all. How do you not have any graduation balloons in your store but have all these other weird occasions on balloons? Doesn't make sense at all and it's graduation season...it's a party store with no party balloons for a graduation. Weird. read more

First off I frequent party city for all my balloon needs. Today I came in for two foul balloons to be blown up. There's no line no wait so cool. I ask for what I want and the girl says it's a 2 Hour Wait for balloons!! How?! There's no one here and y'all aren't blowing any balloons up. She just says that's what it is. This is crazy to me all I could do was laugh to keep from crying because now I'm S.O.L for a party tonight. 2 hour wait the store would be closed before the balloon would even be ready lol comical. The service in the Party City has declined. I've gone a couple times since my original review. For whatever the reason, lack of staff, people calling off, poor scheduling, whatever, they are only operating one register at peak time (Saturday morning/afternoons). It seems as if everyone picks up their balloon orders on Saturdays, so there is normally 4 people manning the balloon station and only one cashier to ring people. Seems like you've being punished for not buying balloons if you ask me. I went looking for a cupcake carrier and what they had was the standard cupcake carrier, for $20. I figured I could get one for cheaper than that and I was right. I was able to find plastic serving pieces (forks,spoons and plastic bowls for only 99 cents and they were the good thick ones that can be reused over and over. Not a bad deal for 99 cents and much nicer than the ones you could get from Dollar Tree. read more

Let me start with the plusses. There are lots of different options for parties, baby showers and weddings. Invitations, birthday cards, cups and plates, utensils, toys and candy, etc. The parking is great because there is plenty of it. Negatives. It's a little pricey and you can probably find this stuff at a better quality and cheaper through sites like Amazon, Etsy, oriental trading. Some of the selection options are a bit basic and cheap. Customer service usually sucks. Last time I went, the lady working had a problem my amount of items .... I guess I had intentions on partying too hard from the looks of my basket? It's been several years since I've reviewed this Party City. Unfortunately in that time span the level of service has declined. No matter what time of day I go there is almost always a slow moving line. Seriously, the lines at Target, Publix and Kroger move faster so why is it so complicated at Party City? Quite frankly I still go on occasion because Party City has a great selection affordable of greeting cards. However as I've mentioned in a few tips, if you're in a rush pass Go and spend your money elsewhere. read more

This Party City needs to CLOSE!! The manager was rude, not accommodating, lacked knowledge and customer service. The facility itself is dirty and has not been properly cleaned! I came to this party city because I just happened to be in the area. GHETTO! I needed a Pikachu balloon (Pokémon). It was the last balloon of that kind left. I picked out the balloon, the male manager agreed to blow it up while I left to go to the bathroom and pick out some other items. While I was walking back to the front, I heard the balloon pop. Then I heard the female associate say, "who the hell wants this balloon anyway?" Wow!! It really should not matter about who wants the balloons, but what should matter is let's find the next nearest Party City to get another one. As I get to the front, the manager proceeds to make a joke about the balloon and tells me that, "it didn't make it." When I asked him if he could call the Alpharetta location for another one, he proceeded to tell me that he didn't know there was one in Alpharetta. He is blatantly lazy, and as he "tried" to search for one and conveniently did not find it. I took out my phone and found it immediately. I do not expect him to know where every party city is in the country, but do not pop the balloon, make a joke, and become lazy to not find the next one. Also how much of a manager are you if your associate is allowed to talk like that behind the counter, you're not a good manager! There was no sorry, I had to find another balloon myself. I called the Alpharetta location (the one the lazy manager in East Point could not find). Then I called East Cobb Marietta and not only did they have it, the lady had it blown up and ready for me to pick up when I arrived. Waaayyyyy better customer service! Oh and just to prove how dirty this place is, I will gladly not be lazy and post pics of the bathroom for everyone to know their dirty secrets! It's a party store, for the most part that means one manager is staffed with all teenagers working part time. I just don't think you can expect too much from young people who might be on their first job. They might have previously had limited responsibilities or experience with real world. With that being said it is also IMPERATIVE that any employee of a company MUST make themselves familiar with their own store and company policies. Employer screening and or training needs to be refined or updated by management. read more

Service was horrible I understand it's covid but, customer service shouldn't change for him to be a store manager. He was really rude about getting balloons. I tried to get four colored balloons they where already blowing balloons up he could have gave me four and still blew up four more. I will not be back to this location horrible service rude as hell. I was in the Camp Creek area attending an event before heading to a going away party I was hosting. I forgot there was a Party City on this side of town so I decided to run in and get the balloons I needed. When I walked in there was a long line at the registers but 6 employees behind the registers. Three of them were ringing customers up, two were blowing up balloons, and one was walking back and forth between those two. I selected a handful of latex balloons from baskets and got in line. I noticed another employee came behind the registers and hoped she would start ringing up customers too. Instead she started talking to the other employees and one employee got off the registers to join in the conversation. After a 10+ minute wait in line... There were only 4 customers in front of me by the way... I finally get the the register. I tell the employee I would like to buy the balloons and have them blown up. He looked at me like I was crazy and said "There's an hour wait for any balloons to be blown up." with a slight attitude. I thought I heard him wrong so I asked him how long and he repeated himself. I looked at the employees nearby talking to employees actually working and notice a helium machine not in use. I ask him if there is anyway to use another machine since I only have a few balloons or I could even use the machine myself (because blowing up a balloon is not rocket science). He said no in the driest voice. I promptly walked out. Awful customer service all the way around and insane wait for 4 balloons. I am a frequent customer at the Buckhead Party City and never had an experience even near that. I called the Buckhead store as I was leaving the shopping complex and was able to place an order for my balloons with in 5 minutes that I could pick up in 15 minutes. I shared my experience in Camp Creek with the staff in Buckhead and they were mortified. read more

Per USUAL...this store is Horrible...I am not sure why Party City continues to demolish their brand by allowing this store to stay open with such horrible staff working ALL the time...especially when it's a busy day like a Saturday. I stood in line for 25 minutes watching one clerk chst with another one before she casually walked to.the register to open it. Boo. So bad I considering dropping what I was trying to buy and going to Target. I came here to pick up some things for a birthday while checking out some wedding stuff since I'm in the early stages of planning one. The selection was OK, but I felt like the space was packed too tightly and there was no room to move. Then the line..... they want all your info to buy a card and gift bag? No thank you. Not to mention that's why the lines were so long! They also had 2 lines open on a Saturday, late morning, about 2 weeks before Halloween. Not as unique as you would hope since they are a party supply superstore. The store is kinda dark. Staff was OK but I believe this applies to all Party City's "EHH". They are many times over priced. I also have found many items at the Dollar Tree and Walmart a a fraction of the cost. read more

I should have read the reviews for them before I placed my balloon order. This is the 2nd time we have used them for balloons and should have learned from the first time. We purchased 60 latex, 2 med mylars and 1 large mylar bouquet of balloons. All were to have hi-float. We picked them up on Sunday afternoon so that we could decorate the office in preparation for Customer Service Appreciation Week. When we unpacked the balloons in the office, 2 of the 60 were not floating at all. The balloons were inflated to all different sizes despite being purchased in a pack. The next morning we arrived at work and half of the balloons were not floating at all. This was less than 24 hours after being purchased!! Called the store to complain and not once was there an apology. They did give us 30 replacement balloons and then wanted to charge us again for the balloon bags when we went to pick them up?! Will never patronize this store again. Seems there is no pride in their quality of work. And when errors are brought to them, they get an attitude with you and try to make it seem as if you did something wrong. Just apologize and fix it. read more

Ok, so Ive been to this party city a couple of times and it is what is. Get what you need and get out. It could be me but they never seem to have the ballons Im looking for. I went in yesterday to get some items for breast cancer awareness, after looking online, I knew they had something but when I went in and asked where the items would be located, I received blank stare... Ok.. On my own to look. My sis finds a small area, the length of my arm. I get 50 dollars worth of items so I can use my 10 dollar off coupon, it baffles the cashier but I get through it. So my bf said I made a bad choice with one of the items, which I have 16 of. I go back today to swap things out. While I stand and look at my arm length area, a worker comes up qnd directs me to qnother smaller area... Yea! So what I have, I want to trade out, they cost the same price. Mam, you owe 6 dollars. Huh, they cost the same I say. They give me some mess about my coupon.... I just bought this stuff yesterday, if I had known this other stuff was here, I would not have had this problem. The cashier ask me about my email and if I came in yesterday, I should have a 20% off coupon. Now Im irritated. Im holding up the line now, people want to get Halloween items. Im 2 seconds from telling her I want a full refund. She does something and I owe 2 cents. They didnt get two cents, they are getting 2 stairs. I didnt even mention that I had to go to another line cause one girl didnt do returns. The other line, the girl had no idea what to do.
