Great customer service! I was in a rush to beat the predicted rain. Kylie (spelling?) helped me put together a pretty balloon bouquet for my 95 years old Grandma. She offered assistance with the colors, arranged them nicely and all with a very helpful energy. I got the balloons to the car and they would not fit, even after one popped. I was frustrated and nervous this was all going to be a flop. I walked back in with my balloons and Kylie saved the day! She replaced the popped balloon and then helped me back out to put them in my car. She was so sweet and helpful. I appreciate it tremendously! That is exactly why people return... excellent service! If rappers go here, it's Party Spitty. If they don't have what you want, it's Party Sh**ty. If they sell sex toys, it's Party Cl**ty. And if these expensive, these is red bottoms, these is bloody shoes, then it's Cardi City. Party City is a pretty awesome store which doesn't always have great management but does have quite a few good products. Including some things you wouldn't expect them to have. Right around Halloween time this place becomes invaluable. And they were more friendly than the one by my house in Buffalo. If Manchester's sky blue team does illegal sponsorship dealings then buys all the top players and cheats their way to several premier league titles, then lies about it in court, it's Perjury City. read more

Worst experience EVER! Placed an order for balloons to be delivered and they advised I needed to contact their third party vendor to figure out what happened. I didn't even know they were using a third party vendor to deliver my balloons. That was not advised at the time I placed my order and why would I reach out to someone they contracted to do a job anyhow? They finally sent a PC employee to deliver my balloons and he arrived 5 mins before our small gathering began. The main foil balloon was under inflated, therefore, looked like it had been inflated weeks prior. This whole situation was a mess from beginning to end. read more

I have always found what I need here, from cups, plates to costumes. There are many around the city and the service seems to be very good wherever I go. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I asked the cashier 2 simple questions about prices. One was labeled 9.99 and was ringing up 12.99. I let her know they were all marked like that. Her response "I don't know." There were other items that were ringing up full price but had clearance stickers on the shelves for the same items. I asked her about it. Her response "I don't know and it's not my problem." I just left the store. Total lack of care. read more

Arrived when the store opened. I was the only customer in the store. I asked for a balloon 85 for my Mother's 85th birthday and was told by the manager, "that they could not take any more orders". Josh did not take my order for balloons like he took everybody else's. Instead he sent us to pay first then still wait in line after everybody else that was only asking questions. All these other people was able to place their balloon order then pay and come back to gather their balloons without a wait. Then we said silver string on the balloons and what do we get? White! I went in earlier this week to buy balloons for a birthday and I asked the cashier if I brought back the receipt can y'all blow them up for me. She informed me that they would be able to do it. I have went to other party city's and never had this issue. I came back in today to fill up the balloons with air and showed them the receipt that I paid for them. The gentlemen working there told me I had to pay for them to put air and I informed him I bought this balloons here and showed him the receipt. I had to go to the register and was charged for each individual balloon to have air in them. Which made no freaking sense because I paid for the balloons and other locations don't do that. They charged me $1.49 for each balloon and $6 for med/big size balloons. When I told the girl at the register she said I'll get them blown up for you if you bought them here you don't have to pay for it. The other girl at the register overheard and gave her a look and then came up to me and said no I have to pay for them. I ended up paying $140 for balloons that's ridiculous. It makes no sense to buy the balloons and then pay more to get them blown I have never experienced this type of service before. Every party city I have went to never charge for air when you buy the packs of balloons from them. Waste of time and money. Never will come back to this location they just try to charge for every little thing. They had no idea what they're doing and it was just upsetting because that's not how much I was looking to spend because usually I go and never have this issue at other locations I've visited this is the first time I went to this location and the last time too. read more

I experienced the worst customer service ever at this location. I ordered 10 regular balloons for pickup on my lunch break the day after, and when I arrived they had not been blown up yet and they couldn't even find the balloons that I had paid for. When I finally asked if someone could please get the balloon ready the woman rolled her eyes and yelled at the top of her lungs for another employee to come help her with them. Once they got my balloons ready, which took them them 15 minutes, I informed them that I had previously paid for a bag for the balloons. The lady helping me rolled her eyes again and told me that she didn't know how to prepare the bag and made her coworker come back to do it for her. Upon leaving the store, she yelled at me from behind the counter that I forgot my receipt and she slapped it into my hand. I did not receive an apology for my unnecessary wait time or their inability to blow up my balloons prior to my arrival like I had paid for. When I finally got home, I realized that they shorted me 2 balloons so I only ended up with 8 out of the 10 balloons that I paid for. Very incompetent employees are working here who apparently have no experience in customer service. read more

Booboo, we got places to go. So, the register that was broken down, is still down when they told us to come to the register. Now, we are waiting for the party of 4 who were behind us to finish with there 9 items. While they decide what they want. Meanwhile we waited longer than them for our one card purchase. It's been over 5 minutes. Waiting and they haven't figured out what they want. Meanwhile the management hasn't even decided to apologize. I'm typing this while waiting in line. Be careful when you do an online order. I did a buy online pick up in store order. They didnt even make sure that all the pieces of the costume were in there (I should have checked) but when I called the manager and asked if they check lwhen they process the order he said "no we assume all the pieces are there". So now I have to be inconvenienced and drive all the way there for a refund because the other stores won't take it since it's this specific stores mistake. No one even apologized for their mistake. Even on the phone they seemed confused. When I asked does it show who packed the order or who worked that morning the sale associate kept saying I dont know. Being in retail they should keep all that on file in order to know who to hold accountable. Once I do my return I wont be returning to this location... read more

Worst customer service. No assistance- lady at the counter screamed "next" so loudly and rudely because I was looking down and reading the information on my package. There was a customer standing in front of me apparently with his wife who was at a register so I thought they were talking to him. They screamed again and laughed. Although the store was understandibly messy from people rummaging around, all the staff was very helpful and friendly. I don't normally frequent Party City. I have a co-worker celebrating his 30 year anniversary at work and wanted to get some balloons and a card and other misc decorations. The line was ridiculous and took about 20 minutes to get threw. When I finally got to the register I was informed I needed to get the balloon first and pay after. Pissed is an understatement! Put a sign with black font against a white back drop on the actual ballon wall. You can't even read the current sign hanging randomly from the ceiling in the opposite corner away from the registers. I doubt that I am not the first person that has made this mistake. And I'm realizing from all the reviews that efficiency is not taken very seriously, probably because there is not a competitor. Which is a lame excuse for a business. Be better. What gets my blood boiling even more is that I asked the female cash register if I could pay for the ballon first and then get it second. She included another female cash register into our conversation and they both agreed that they didn't have time to pull the number because the line was too long. No shit! Which is why I didn't want to have to get back in it. I should have made them hold my items so after standing in the line again and waiting for their register to become available they would have had to deal with me a second time but I was so irate that I hadn't thought about it at the time. Maybe then they would have learned a lesson in customer service. read more
