To comment more generally, I have been delighted with my Party City experiences -- particularly in the last year or so! On this visit, I was cheerfully welcomed by both a staff person and the manager. The staff person asked if I needed help finding anything; and -- when said I did -- very swiftly ushered me to the items in question. The store was well stocked, and offered many interesting, and even unique, options for the items I was purchasing for a Birthday party! The manager assisted me at check-out, and was extremely helpful with balloon selection and arranging balloon delivery. Although prices were comparatively reasonable; as I ultimately spent a goodly amount on my order, the manager gave me a very welcome discount. I wanted to send a balloon bouquet to my nephew for his 8th birthday for same day delivery. I went online & spent lots of time choosing what I wanted, which balloons, & picked out a Sonic Hedgehog animal to add to it also. I had trouble placing the order so I called the store & explained that I wanted to send something for same day delivery but was having trouble. Catherine answered & was very helpful & got someone to take care of me. Rob took over & saw that there was a problem placing the order. He placed the order for me. I gave him the list of everything that I wanted & how I wanted it. He took care of all of it. He was helpful, patient, friendly, & really seemed to care that he got the order just right. He was AMAZING!!! The delivery got there same day as promised & it was really GREAT!!! I am thrilled that I called them. Great delivery & service. I highly recommend them. read more

I think this party city has the largest funko POP collection I've seen at a party city. The only "issue" I had at this party city is that no music was playing besides that they were covid safe and had a huge selection of everything. read more

Rarely do I need to go to a Party City but when I find myself there it's never anything special. They do have a wide selection of items for any type of party which is nice. Being almost Halloween, a good chunk of the store dedicates itself to costumes and Halloween decorations and I remember I used to shop here for my costumes as well but there are specific seasonal Halloween stores everywhere now which I'm sure hurt business but this place is still hanging in there. Rounding up from 3.5 stars the selection does it. The prices aren't too bad but won't beat other big name stores. Some things you just can't find anywhere else, for that I am still happy this store is still here. read more

Terrible customer service at Party City in Lake Zurich. Purchased several Thanksgiving wreaths on 11/23 @ 7pm. Returned the very next morning to purchase 2 more & was told they were shipped out. I questioned how they could be shipped out if they were just there the night before & this is a Saturday. I then asked for the manager & he said they are in a box but he won't get them for me. Said they are in a box so the answer is no. Can't imagine there were too many boxes as there were originally only 2 small tables of Thanksgiving items remaining. He just didn't want to do it & scowled at me for asking. There was only one other customer in the store at that time so I wasn't asking for him to take away time from them. Too bad, I like their party supplies but really detest employees with an attitude. read more

I love coming here for it's 5 minutes from home. It's not as big as the store in Hoffman Estates but it has the merchandise that I'm looking for. I usually get the seasonal inserts and they carry them here. The staff is friendly and accommodating. One caveat, they're a week behind when putting the seasonal merchandise out. read more

When what I was looking for instore was not available and employee suggested that I order from the kiosk instore and that shipping would be free to my house. The computer was a bit slow but I have to say really impressed!! ordered yesterday at around 1pm and just recvd items at 1pm today!!
