I used to like Party City a lot. It was a big "warehouse" of party supplies, and I could always find what I needed. It wasn't fancy, but it did the job. I am sad to say the new Party City doesn't quite fit the bill anymore. They've changed everything to make it a more attractive store with lower shelves and different sections, with a big balloon counter in the middle. Since the change at this Party City, I can rarely find what I'm looking for because they seem, somehow, to have less of a selection. It's fine now, but not as good as it used to be. read more

At one point they both ducked into the bathroom...doing whatever. I try to avoid this place as much as possible. The prices are expensive and the quality is cheap. Today was a very special day due to a 'long distance' gender reveal. My son is in the military so this afternoon my daughter in law called in to let this P.C. know to get a gender reveal box ready. But, she was told that someone needs to come in, pay first then let an associate know the gender as boy or girl, then they'd fill in the proper balloon to the box. So my husband went at 4:30 pm today, 2/26th and connected with the PC associate, Miles - then he got our son on the phone to tell Miles the gender, A BOY! When my husband got home, I had set up to record the priceless moment! And so we proceeded to capture this very special moment on video. We opened the box to a PINK, IT'S A GIRL balloon that popped out of the box! We were thrilled either way, so fun to know this way. HOWEVER we soon found out that Miles, who must have the attention span of 5 minutes, PUT IN THE WRONG balloon! UNBELIEVABLE! We cannot get this special, video captured moment back!!! Can you imagine if this had been reveals in front of an entire group, or even just the parents, subsequently being led in the wrong direction for possibly months?! We DO NOT recommend trusting this Party City for ANY order, let alone for something so precious as a gender reveal!!!!! I've been to this location a few times for various occasions. I've always had pleasant experiences. Today, I had an issue where a balloon had deflated a tad- not because of them, the 112 degree heat! They guarantee the balloons for 24 hours. I brought it right back and they immediately offered to fill it back up as I walked in without even having to ask them. I've been to this location twice. Once to get a Halloween costume for my oldest, two days before Halloween, and one today to pick up some party favors. The Halloween trip was....fun? It was crowded and annoying, but given the timeframe I didn't expect anything less. We looked at all the pictures on the wall just like everyone else and I've my daughter decided on a costume we asked one of the associates working the floor. They got it from the back quickly and we were able to try it on. The experience was relatively pain free and quick. They have a large selection and although sizes were limited, they had more than expected. Today I went to get some favors for my daughter birthday party. She wanted a Monster High theme, and after searching Pinterest I found that Party City had a lot to choose from. I went to the website first and sure enough, it looked like I would find a large selection. I was able to get some fun favors and party hats for just over $40. They also had some "value packs" that would have been less. The store is a little dirty, but it's very well organized and they have a lot of themes and characters to choose from. Had I not checked Pinterest, chances are I wouldn't have thought of going here...silly, I know. I have another party to plan for next month and I will be back here for sure. read more

Call dislocation today spoke with a girl name Andrea, she had me wait the first time 15 minutes on the phone to look for a product says she told me that the store was out of, I informed her another location told me that her location had eight of them in stock, Andrea then went to search the store for the product that I was inquiring about, after waiting 15 minutes on the phone I recalled the store and was transferred to Andrea. She then told me she found a box and she's going to look for the Elsa costume to see if there was a size that I asked about. I then waited another 15 minutes, and then was told by Andrea they do have the costume in stock and I asked for it to be left up at the front. When I went to the store to pick up the costume. There is a male employee sitting on the balloon counter asking another employee if she had a box cutter. I stood waiting for the kid to acknowledge me, finally I walked up to him and told him that I called prior and they had a costume waiting for me up at the front of the store. He handed me a costume, I asked what other frozen products that they had. The kid had no idea what the store had or the layout of the store. I asked if there's another employee available and then walked Andrea from outside. Andrea then was able to help me and tell me where products were but that they were discontinuing the frozen merchandise line. When I got to the checkout line to pay for my purchase I noticed I did not get a discount for all the time that I waited on the phone, I probably would've been writing a better review if I got a discount. My child costume that bought was on sale. But I bought other products also. So it would've been nice. Very sad. Won't return or call this location in the future read more

I did a online order. When completing my order online it stated I'd get a message letting me know when it was completed.Never happened. Online also stated I'd get the balloons between 12-1 . Never happened. So I called the store I spoke to a girl who was working the ballon department as it was 1:10 I asked do you know the status of my ballons she said they are here at the store and the delivery service is done by a third party so idk when they will be here as we aren't responsible for them. I asked to speak to a manager so I can find out further detail as to maybe I need to come get them myself for the party. Well I was on hold for 30 minutes while I can hear her talking to people . Mean while! The ballons get delivered !!!! It's like if you knew the delivery service had come pick them up why not tell me , so I am not wasting my time on hold!!!! I then called back to another girl who was not the precious one she stated she was the supervisor on duty I started to tell her my frustration and she hung up the phone on me! Nicole and Violet are so awesome! They were both so friendly and helpful even though there was a lot of people who needed their help all at once. I brought in balloons that had confetti in them already, and Nicole found a way to make the confetti stick to the sides of the balloon rather than all falling to the bottom (who knew that was even possible?!). DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE! If I could give 0 stars I would. They messed up my order. Then the "manager" argued with me telling me I'm wrong. Even though I had the order in front of me. I paid at the time I placed the order. I literally had to pull up my bank info online and show the man how much I was charged and then make a "dummy" order including the missing items they never gave me to prove the total that I was charged online. Finally after jumping through all those hoops, he finally handed me my two missing items. Which were no more than 2 packages of napkins totaling $8. Never apologized. So after waiting for help, I was bummed to find out that they only had one style for the retirement and were out of that. I ended up getting a congratulations balloon, due to it being last minute. Time to stock up on some birthday party supplies, so I headed over to Party City. Planning a Mickey Mouse themed party is easy as it's generic enough to get the stock supplies, and there are a fair amount of Mickey items from invites, thank yous, plates, cups, napkins and favors. I did have to visit 2 different locations to get everything as both locations were a little low on stock. This location has a huge open stock candy section that I either missed at other locations, or just don't exist at other locations, so that's something to keep in mind if you're looking to put candy in goody bags and want a huge selection. read more
