I went looking for carstock almost walking the entire store without luck. I asked a staff person who walked me over to an aisle I hadn't visited. I found what I was looking for and walked to check out to pay. There were two cashiers and a very long line of customers. Nope, not waiting. There were lots of staff on the floor but only two cashiers??? I suppose none of them are trained on the register. I really like this store and the pony beads from here are so good but the line to pay for your stuff is really long and a bit slow and the charms are really cute and cool but they are a bit expensive so I don't get them all the time but overall the store is pretty good!:3 read more

As a company, you can put money into having commercials however it takes an hour to get through your lines because each cashier is manually punching everything in. You don't have Apple Pay. There's money that you're making that you can upgrade your system. Avoid going there because of the time it takes to get out of there. read more

I went in today to get two tubes of e600 in an out quickly after waiting in line for every they have more than 15 people in line with only two registers open and 4 to 7 staff member walking around doing absolutely nothing, I asked the CSM Kathleen or something like that if they could open another register, she told me they didn't have enough people to cover register we ask ( what about the staff walking around plus they changed out a cashier but yet she wouldn't put down her tablet to help, it's like we were bothering her if this was my employee today would have been her last day... When I finally finished I ask the young lady standing by the door why didn't she help, she looked at me and said she couldn't leave her post..... But yet she was walking around the FOH.... We had the same issue on Saturday afternoon. The customer service no longer exists at hobby lobby it's all about the bottom line and how crappy they can make their customers feel. read more

Filled with crafting items and home decor I find this store a great place to see if anything speaks to me when dressing up the house. They have cool items for movie theater rooms, baby room decor, seasonal and holidayvand so much more. I like coming here for gifting as well. read more

We waited for the store manager to "check to see if he missed something" and then advised the cashier to try to scan it and it didn't work. Came in with my sister to find some things for her new house and some seasonal decor and whatever else spoke to me. The store was clean and organized. I was happy to see a lot of good sales since they have discontinued their coupons. I miss the coupons. I do feel however some things are crazy overpriced so I wait and wait in hopes it goes on sale. I was able to find a cute bird bath that is small enough for my hummingbirds and other small birds that visit my sunflower garden. Service was quick and plenty of checkers. read more

This store is a lot bigger than expected and everything was so neatly organized. They often have sales every other week for a lot of their things. I was able to find some clearance items for my upcoming weddings which were awesome. The store can get busy on the weekends so try and go during the week if you can. The store is not open on a Sunday which sucks. Other than that, the parking lot is shared with stores nearby but easy to find a spot. The staff that works here is far and in between and the lines can get long due to limited staff. But then again. this is an issue everywhere. read more

I was accused of stealing because i had the items in my hand and she assumed that i had out them in my hand rather than the cart that i was going to put them in my purse. My bag was on my shoulder hanging in the front! She heard me speaking spanish and went into my aisle and accused me. I opened my purse and showed her and said nothing is in there and showed her my pockets nothing was there, she told me to go check out like first off what if i was looking at stuff still, two who are you to tell me what to do? Then she went to the checkout and watched the girl check me out and when all my items were there she left! I've never wanted to write a bad review about a retail store until now. I saw a piece of wall art that I really loved at a different hobby lobby when I was on my trip in CA. Found out it'll be on sale in a week so I stopped at this store while I was on my way home (still 2 hours from where I live and out of my way) but I REALLY wanted this picture. I gathered some other things that I wanted to buy and looked everywhere on the floor for the picture. I couldn't find it. I went to check out and looked to my left and saw it on display directly above the seasonal stuff on the top of the shelf! I was ecstatic.. I asked the cashier if she would kindly send someone up to get it down for me and she asked 3 different employees.. I waited for the first employee to come to the front- she said she can't do it because it's not her department. Waited for the second employee to come up, same thing.. not her department so she can't do it.. After more waiting they sent the employee in charge of seasonal and she told me that they "weren't allowed to get it down". They did NOT even sell it to me. I couldn't believe it.... I should've asked for a manager but at this point I had already been driving for 7 hours and I was over it. Horrible customer service. They should have told me to step aside for a minute so they can figure out how to get it down and I would've waited no problem but instead they told me I couldn't have it!! These employees were young, I'm 32 and they looked really young. Someone needs to teach them some work ethic because this is ridiculous. Will not be returning to this location. read more

DO NOT BUY CRICUIT PRODUCTS HERE!!! I purchase the easy press and when I got home the heating element does not work! I go in to ask for a refund or simple exchange and instead of having a civil conversation I get abruptly approached by a staff member who says multiple times "it says it on the receipt" I understand if that is the policy but I was never informed upon purchasing they are no refundable and the store manager even brought the machine to the check out line. Nowhere else are these non returnable. cricuit customer service takes up to a month to exchange the product and requires a video showing how you are using it, so excited to waste hours on this when I just wanted a T-SHIRT. read more

On Saturday morning, June 11, 2022, two young women working in the art framing department did an outstanding, "above and beyond" glass replacement order "while I waited", taking about 45 minutes. When I picked it up, the 1st young lady explained she had included new hardware and backing at no extra charge - wonderful! Upon my arrival at home, my wife quickly noticed the painting under the glass was not aligned correctly with the mat. I returned to the store. The second young lady (the first had gone on her "break") graciously and immediately took the piece back into the workshop, returning in several minutes with the problem resolved, including providing new tape while explaining the painting had slipped because the original pieces of tape had dried, causing the painting to slip and partly rotate under the glass. No extra charge, again, even though our order, basically, was done twice. Order completed, very professionally, very happy customer! Highly recommend Hobby Lobby for glass replacement with your valued art works. Probably their other services, too. read more

Hey manager, if you are listening... your store has a problem. I don't know if it is the employees or the manager of the employees, but the last few times I've been in this store it has taken an absurd amount of time to find an employee to help. Case in point, the spray paint case. It's locked. The logical way to handle a locked case would be to have an employee stationed near it always in order to avoid losing business or pissing off customers (oops, too late). Even when I tracked down an employee (on the other side of the store, mind you) their calls over the loud speaker went unanswered. I went up to what seemed to be a manager type person and he wasn't very nice (he wasn't mean directly towards me, but having him make a call seemed to annoy him). Sorry guy. I guess managing from a stationary spot in the front of the store isn't very effective. Try walking. I walked 500 miles. I won't walk 500 more. That's how long it took to find a non-cashier employee to help. It is pretty pathetic when a group of people find each other all looking for help and none of us can find any. Oh, and your prices are ridiculous. I like how you mark everything up just to mark it back down and pretend like there is a sale every day of the week. Unfortunately, this rant is above your store and applies to ALL Hobby Lobby's so I digress. Maybe the attributes required to work at Hobby Lobby are: -Have NO people skills at all...in fact, if you mumble your replies to customers, this earns you double "brownie points" for sure! -Totally lack any common sense skills...take for example, the one employee who stared at the incredibly LONG line (to add to that, the ONLY open lane on a Saturday morning), as he walked by to gawk at the long line... Nevermind about helping ring up customers or call another "back-up" cashier....that would be crazy! -If you see a line LONGER than the one at the DMV, run back and hide in the floral department...don't worry, no one saw you. -Look confused when a customer inquires something about "more cashiers", "...another open check-out lane", or "letting the MOD know that the line is as long as the ones at Costco on a weekend during the Holidays..." Knowing that HL is terrible for their lack of cashiers, this one happens to be the WORST. I don't expect friendly service, I just want to give them my money and be on my way...not wait and wait and wait. Usually, IF I must absolutely stop by, then I come as soon as they open in the morning. I always find it fascinating that Christian based stores tend to be the least friendly, least customer service oriented, and least...well Christian of retail stores. HL has a fantastic selection of all things crafts, home decor, and even furniture. It's laid out nicely and not jam packed in like at Michaels where you can barely get a cart down the aisles. I have always found exactly what i need plus a few additional ideas whenever I've gone to HL. They have lots of great sales too making it not such a pinch on the pocketbook. If you want something and it's not 50% off, wait 1-2 weeks and go back. Seriously. Wide variety of products If you're in the market for Halloween decor/craft supplies in June, they have it and probably at 50% off. Thanksgiving decor is already 50% off in September. You can buy your Christmas tree and decor in July. The pro of this is that you can buy it at 50%-75% off in November & December. Cons: Closed on Sundays, but it's so their employees can go to worship services. Close at 8:00 pm No bar codes. The cashier manually enters prices and sale prices. Watch carefully, especially if you get a lazy teenager as a cashier. read more

What comes to mind when you think about scrapbooking? Aunt Bea, right? Well, honey, I had no idea. My little sister is a scrapbooking maven and I couldn't believe how cool a project of hers that she presented to my mom on Christmas day was. It was a beautiful tribute to my mom for being....well, a great mom. It had photos of our family and photos of my mom (when she was a spring chicken) in hot pants and it wasn't the least bit foofy or cheesy. It was really classy! Sure scrapbooks can be bunnies and puppies and flowers and pink brik-a-brak and ice cream socials, but little sis makes scrapbooking rock! So one day, little sis takes me to Hobby Lobby to show me where she gets all this cool stuff. And well, Hobby Lobby is no lobby. It is a craft superstore! I couldn't believe the selection and the prices were a fraction of what I'm used to seeing at Michaels. I could easily see how that scrapbooking stuff - or any hobby/craft - can add up, but Hobby Lobby is definitely the place where you get more bang for the buck. Not saying I'm going to be joining Aunt Bea's scrapbooking group any time soon, but if I did, Hobby Lobby would be my first stop. read more

This place is large. It is like a Micheal's craft store mixed with a Kirklands. If you need pictures framed, buy print art, decorate your home with nick knacks, they even have some furniture. They also have craft stuff such as model airplanes, paints, glues, etc. If you need to decorate your home or feel like being crafty go here. It's a great store...the only gripe is that the lines are always super long and there is sometimes only one register open. Now for the good schtuff...I appreciate the fact that there are always 50% off sales. Whether it is wall art, glassware, fabric or other decor themes! Being a teacher, I am always on the look out for good deals for craft ideas to do in my classroom. Considering I pay out of pocket for these things...it's great to have a place to go that has good deals. Suggestion: follow suit with other craft stores and offer an educator discount! My 14 year old son went to this location with his friend and his friend's family to shop for a school project. Instead of manager finding parents first, he cursed out my son and his friend, while kicking them out. Instead of using it as a learning opportunity, the manager just made hobby lobby's "Christianity" reputation look bad. For all those complaining about customer service, it most likely comes from that guy making it a hostile work environment. Trust me, I know the signs. I had a discussion with my son about his behavior and he now understands how he needs to behave and why it's important. He did not deserve to be kicked out, cursed out or disrespected. We will no longer go to this hobby lobby. You're lucky if we go to any hobby lobby after this. You're manager just ruined it for all hobby lobby locations. read more
