Word on the street was that Balloons By Court was an All Star of her trade. I reached out to Courtney to talk ideas. I really loved that Courtney would schedule time for me to call her and speak to her over the phone like people did decades ago. With our current digital way of life I wasn't willing to organize this difficult event over text or email. Speaking with Courtney allowed me the opportunity to trust her abilities and for me to explain what I was trying to create. The night of the surprise party we rolled into the restaurant a little after 6. The curtain was pulled and wow! Brought tears to my wife's eyes. Balloons By Court did an amazing job with the decorating. The posted pictures don't really capture the full experience of this room, however the cake table background and balloon arch was something out of this world. I know that Courtney went out of her way to contact the venue and cake maker to even further iron out details such as cake color to coordinate and make this event perfect. Balloons add SO MUCH to an event!…read more They're a cost effective impact statement that everyone should consider, and Court is the best! We're not talking about old school balloon bouquets, though they have their place. We're talking about sculptural, colorful installations that serve as great backdrops for photos and an eye-catching focal point for an event that can quite literally stop your guests in their tracks (in a good way)! That's exactly what the Balloons by Court installation did at my most recent event, Yelpstronomy. AND there are a ton of photos to show for it too! I was amazed at how efficiently and cleanly Court worked while installing the piece and how prompt she was to return to help with tearing it down. YES! They do that too! She worked with one other person and they were in and out quieter than a churchmouse. I was impressed from start to finish. Court helped me conceptualize the design, did a sight survey and worked with me to create a display that accomplished all my objectives and exceeded all my expectations. Bell of the Ball hosted a Sip & Paint at a chicken wing restaurant in Reno. They supplied all the…read morepaint supplies and gave us a drink voucher for the restaurant. We all got to open a tape individually for food orders too. We got to pick out our own canvases with stencil art. There were a lot of designs to choose from. Our tickets were prepunched before the event for $40. We had good music and good food and drinks. I got to connect with some new people and we had a great time. Definitely would recommend a Bell of the Ball event. Not only does she plan events, she does wedding planning, notary, party supplies rentals, and balloon art for celebrations. One stop shop for all your party needs!

The bar had several options including some specialty drinks not just your basic beer and wine bar. Greg, was also incredible at crafting a mocktail that made me feel included in the revelry. We started with an elaborate appetizer and hors d'oeuvres bar with so many wonderful flavors. I personally loved the basil cheddar, fresh pesto, the cheeses, dates, apricots and the best hummus I think I've ever had. Dinner was buffet style with Little Gem Salad, Orzo Risotto (my favorite), herbed chicken breast in a champagne beurre blanc sauce and Tri-tip with Chimichurri. Desserts were Apple Crisps and Candy Cane Squares. My favorite part was the appetizers but I did try a bit of everything except the salad and grilled vegetables. Both looked great and the husband said the flavors were perfect. The orzo risotto was my absolute favorite. I can't explain how flavorful this was made with cherry tomatoes, pesto (oh, that's why!), parmesan and orange zest. When we have them cater, we are definitely going to have this as a option. My second favorite was the chicken, which was also my husband's favorite. It was so tender and juicy. My husband said it was moist, but alot of people hate that word. It had just the right amount of herbed spices. I may have made tri tip my third just because of my specific diet, but it was also very tasty. You could tell the chimichurri was freshly made. The tri tip was perfectly cooked to a medium and medium rare. That too is tender and juicy. Finally I can't say enough about the candy cane square. I'm usually not a fan of peppermint desserts but I'll make an exception for the oreo crust and peppermint cream cheese fluff. The apple Crisp was made with fresh apples that really let the natural flavor dominate the palette. There wasn't a lot of sugar on the apples, but they were really sweet. The crisp topping was buttery and sugary to sweeten the dessert without sweetening the apples. I found that mixing the two desserts together was actually pretty phenomenal. All in all, I don't think you can go wrong with this caterer. They put a lot of thought into their menus, and it shows.
