This used to be called "The Macon Telegraph And News." They changed the name to just "The…read moreTelegraph," because they took out the news in name, spirit and FACT. The real paper of the same name as "The Telegraph" is in Great Britain. They changed their color scheme from red to blue. Hmm, what else do we associate the color blue with around election time? Atlanta had an election in which the Republican won and the democrat lost. This wonderful paper didn't run a story about the winner. They didn't run a story about the winner and the loser. They ran a story about the dashed hopes and dreams of the loser. Boo hoo, poor losing candidate. I see now they've changed their color scheme to white. Like that's really going to help and turn this sink hole around. White would match that new building they built a few years ago that is now a doctor's office. Most of the good reporters find better jobs and move on. What's left are the ones who can't spell, type or string more than five words or so along in a line without great difficulty. Maybe the good reporter left doesn't have a driver's license to escape? The editors think that their extremely biased works of art will change the opinions of the voting population. This paper is tilted so far left, if fell over on its side. Voters are smarter than the editor thinks. You'll see the comments about how they won an award. Big deal. You see posters in businesses claiming to be voted 'best of the best' by this what passes as a news paper. What some businesses do is get the email addresses of clients and vote it in themselves. The price keeps going up while the content keeps going down. Oh, I suppose their circulation would be higher if keeping pet birds were still a popular thing to do. They don't serve the community, they attempt to shape it into their own leftist political views. And they wonder why people won't even accept free papers when they're trying to pass them out at the grocery store. They should go into the sign making business. They could start with making signs saying "closed," "out of business," "defunct," or "this paper is Gone With The Wind."

They paced back and forth behind us all night talking. They were trying to catch someone taking pictures or videotaping so aggressively that they had no regard for us. They stood between us and the stage over and over and over all night!!! One kept leaning on the back of the seat right beside me despite the fact that the row was empty and they could have moved down, it wasn't necessary to stand over my left shoulder...but you did anyway!!! With what we paid for tickets and the $5.00 bottles of water we should atleast be allowed to watch the show!!!!! That was BS!

Drove around for about 10 minutes, like many others, to finally find parking directly across from the Auditorium for $20 that only took cash. I looked at the Auditorium to see it was a chaotic scene. At about 720 there was a long line still waiting to get in. The Line extended from the Auditorium down the stairs onto the sidewalk. This told me that the show would be delayed as well, as people were looking for parking like me while others were waiting to get in. Afterwards, I drove around a few more blocks for about 10-20 more minutes then at 745 I gave up and drove the 1.5 hours back home. I called the box office to voice my disappointment. If you're not familiar with the area you wouldn't know where else to seek parking but I tried by following the crowd as they continued to look for parking. I won't be coming back to this location. Sorry that I missed his performance I was really looking forward to it.

Macon City Auditorium - Worst venue I've ever. Steep dark stairs with zero markers to get to awful balcony seats. I'm 5'7" and this is how tight the seats are.
