We go here often during the winter and there are even places across the highway if you want a liquor store or some more great restaurants. Love it! Some of the chain restaurants can get tourist trap pricey.

While it definitely could use a facelift, my main knock on this place comes to the fact that it had (at least) two raccoons living in the outside structure (which is built like a mountain). They had made a tunnel into the wall and were crawling up into it, and sneaking outside to steal food and scare customers. That is a serious health & safety issue. Can you imagine if they bit someone? I hope someone reports them soon before something bad does end up happening.

As we walked to front door, we realized there were two raccoons at the main entrance eating food that patrons had thrown down in order to get pictures, etc. This experience made me so upset: 1) Don't feed wild animals and 2) Why wasn't the company concerned with wild animals hanging out at the entrance of the business where customers HAVE TO walk. I had hoped after exploring the entire store (which takes a while) that the raccoons would have moved on, but on our way out, we realized that the raccoons had made their nest/house inside of the exterior of Alvins. That made me even madder! This was not a one time instance! As I exited, I called animal control (which wouldn't respond to raccoons) so then I called the police (non-emergency). I realize they had bigger fish to fry on a Saturday night at PCB, but had those animals attacked me or my family members, they would have had a much bigger problem on their hands.
