I contacted them on facebook and they immediately responded. Then Christina took the order and made the most perfect arrangement of yellow roses to deliver. I was so impressed! And my bestie loved her flowers too. So, of course, on my 1st visit to Ely yesterday I had to stop in. It is SO adorable!! They carry 10-15 flavors. I had huckleberry. It was fantastic. They also have great baked goods - huge brownie for $1.25. The decor is kitschy diner with tables and vinyl chairs and a lunch counter. The gift shop sells t-shirts, knick-nacks, postcards, and jewelry.

Given that a large chunk of the visitors to the park are big families - I saw 8 kids emerge from a single minivan, and anyone driving in from the California side probably has their own stash of wine that they will drink under the stars, there does not seem to be much of an audience. They still sell one flavor of ice cream - if the 'Mr Whippy' machine is working. But the magic has gone - kids like to choose.

Mistakes happen, but refusing to take accountability and treating customers poorly is unacceptable. I won't be returning and would not recommend this shop to anyone expecting professional service.
