I started taking my 6 year old greyhound (Harper) here a little over a month ago. Prior to this, Harper had some social anxiety issues and would only socialized with other greyhounds. She was scared of any other dog...big or small. I discussed her issues with the staff at Pasadena Pet Motel, and they advised they can and will work with her while she is at daycare. A month later, Harper plays with all the dogs there! Big, small, medium...it doesn't matter! The day She is excited to go there while I'm at work and is very much starting to come out of her shell. When I pick her up, she doesn't want to leave! The staff have been absolutely wonderful with her! Pasadena Pet Motel has done an amazing job working with Harper, as well as being accommodating to my work schedule. I'm very excited to see what happens over the next few months. My boys (fur babies) love the staff here. They are very caring and attentive to them. Dogs bark....I have one that barks and now his brother will follow him if he thinks there is some danger. That's how they communicate. They are tired when they get home from all the activity and exercise. I wouldn't leave them any where else! read more

Having to travel for work and knowing that our fur baby will be cared for is such an appreciated peace of mind...Carter is a rescue and he didn't do well at other facilities bc of his past surrender experience...Samantha and DJ and all the team members listened to our concerns and took the time to work with him to build his trust and make his time away from home fun and productive. It's also such a plus to be able to have him washed before we pick him up and we add that service often. We wouldn't take him anywhere else and truly value the care he receives when we aren't home. read more

Leaving my dog in the care of this company is relieving, they always take good care of my boy. He has loads of fun and he is super tired when he leaves which is great for a high energy Foxhound. Pasadena Pet Motel is the only place we will use to board our dogs. From the very first time we walked in their doors they were extremely welcoming and made sure our questions were answered and our minds were put to ease. The entire staff is so good to our dogs, especially Wendy, who has taken a love for our miniature dachshund. All we have to do is ask if they want to go to camp and see Wendy and they're at the door waiting. From day trips to extended stays, they always provide a safe environment for our pups. Grooming and nails are done on premise with in house groomers, drop off in the morning and pick up a few hours later as our pups always stay and play for a while. Prices are beyond reasonable which is why this is a definite go to for boarding and grooming. We suggest them to everyone we know or anyone who asks us a good place. read more

We moved back to Florida (Treasure Island) from California in late 2018 with our two Hungarian Vizslas, Harry and Cece. We wanted a dog boarding facility that was relative near and came across Pasadena Pet Motel. After the first boarding visit, we were thoroughly impressed by the staff and how well they took care of our two lunatics. We have now board our dogs several times with no issues. Excellent care and loving. My Mister Bojangles a 70 lb poodle went to day care while I had work done on the house and he apparently had a fun time playing with other dogs. The staff are professional. The place is immaculate. The owners must screen the employees well as they pay attention to detail and seem to love the dogs so I have peace of mind while I am apart from my beloved dog. I plan to board 4 over the Eastertime without hesitation. I know I can travel without worrying. read more

I left my two dogs for the first time with Pasadena pet motel they were there for two days when I pick them up no one was covered in Matted feces and Digging on himself because he was uncomfortable at all over his bottom the second one did not receive his pills in manner they were supposed to be even though clearly written on the bottle. I went on vacation but definitely won't now if they can't handle two days what will my dogs look like after seven. read more

I board my dogs there all of the time ! They love it ! Best place in town and best prices . They treat me and my dogs like family .

If I can give any advise it would be to stay as far away from this company as possible. Samantha charged $1200 to train my puppy, then when I brought him home he is not trained. She then said that it is not their responsibility and if I want further help it would be $250 for her to put "wear and tear" on the company car to come out and do an in home session. By far the WORST trainer I have ever spoken with. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from them!!!! read more

This place is terrible. They literally put ear phones on and let the dog cry and bark at each other for 6:30 AM until 7:30pm you never hear them talking to the dogs they just listen to music with ear phones so they don't have to pet the animals or talk to them. Sad place for animals. They rarely answer the phone and when they do they are rude. Owner is no where to be found. Be scared when someone doesn't let you see your dog, see where they will be sleeping, or where they play. Call animal service. Several complaints!!! read more

I was looking for a place to board my Cavalier while I was traveling. Went in for a tour and they would not show me what the kennels looked like. "We would disturb the dogs too much." I don't know about anyone else, but I would never leave my dog somewhere I was not allowed to see! read more

Booking, checking in and checking out was such an easy experience. Kathy (hopefully I spelled it correctly) made me feel very welcomed.The lobby could have used a tiny bit of air freshener but everything looked very clean and organized.One special feature of this dog kenneling facility was consistent hours seven days a week. read more

We have been taking our dogs to Pasadena Pet Motel for several years for grooming and occasional kenneling. Although the cuts were done nicely, they continuously lie about when the dogs will be ready. They will take in dogs early in the morning, and we discovered that the groomer doesn't even show up until late in the morning or early afternoon. The groomer never calls you when the dogs are ready. We began to see another groomer with great results and communication, but recently our elder dog needed a cut but our current groomer was booked for 3 weeks in advance. We took a chance and went back to PPM with clear instructions that our dog had extreme arthritis and we needed to make an appointment where the groomer could see him immediately. The morning I dropped off our dog, reminded them of the importance of a reasonable departure (~3 hours), and made plans to pick him up before they closed for lunch. As always, I never heard back from them, and they didn't answer the phone for 2 hours (during business hours). I finally got through at noon, and they hadn't even started our dog, and got snippy with me accusing me of saying I would pick up the dog later in the afternoon. These folks are liars, unprofessional and unresponsive to the needs of the pet and owner. Do your fur-child a favor, go somewhere else. read more
