I decided to look up a Groupon and then was directed to this group. Upon arriving there was a small room with chairs facing the front of the class and our class teacher Stephen. The location was actually pretty easy to find after receiving an email from someone letting us know the day before the location had changed. The class I will say was informative and definitely what someone with no experience should look into. For me personally this was very basic of stuff I am already aware of but found it helpful either way being I had an instructor right in front to ask questions. Plus, it was great to get a reminder of and different point of view from other people. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone that wants to "up" their camera game!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this photo restoration studio. I first came here to…read morerestore some foundational family photos for my mom's 80th birthday, and the results were beyond anything I could have hoped for. The images that are part of our family's legacy were brought back to life with such care and beauty. I loved the work so much that I came back again to have a childhood photo restored for 11 of my aunts and uncles as a birthday gift. What he does is truly artistry. He takes his time, pours his heart and soul into every image, and you can feel how much he genuinely cares about the stories behind the photos. In a world where so much is done quickly with AI, he is one of the rare artists still doing this work with incredible skill, patience, and heart. There is something almost spiritual about walking into this place and trusting someone with your most precious family memories. This will be the only place I trust with our valuable family photos. Truly exceptional work.

The quality of their work is consistently fantastic. John clearly pays attention to the little details, the scans always come back looking beautiful, and I trust them completely with my film rolls with a process that I can't redo or recreate, precious moments. On top of that, their turnaround time is incredibly fast; they get them over to you the day of (as long as you get it to them before 3pm that day), or the next day. I've tried several other labs over the years, but I always end up coming back to this one. There's a reason they've become my go-to, even from halfway across the country. If you're looking for a film lab that combines exceptional quality, reliability, and fast service, I can't recommend them enough. Thank you John!

Our guide and instructor took our small group into places I never would have imagined inside the Preserve. While I was expecting to have a little bit of our time focused on the educational aspects of post-production, it turned out that we were split our time about 50-50 between editing and going out into the field and taking photos which was perfect for me. The small class size provided ample one-on-one mentoring with a certified instructor who was able to teach us many of the best-practices on image handling and post processing. Not only did I come back with some great images to send to the print shop and share with my family and friends on social media, but I returned with new editing skills and a fresh workflow combining LightRoom with Photoshop. Simply put it was an amazing trip, I learned more in 5 days than I had in the last year of taking classes and weekend workshops. The whole experience was customized to the needs of the group, starting with the phone calls before the trip to discuss what I wanted to accomplish, through adjusting the schedule while we were in the Preserve, and the follow-up calls afterwords. Small group size, 1 on 1 mentoring, trip tailored to the individual needs and desires of our group, instructor knew the area extremely well including knowing what time of day to be where to capture the right light on the scenes. Still riding the photo high from a trip that ended a month ago. Can't wait to attend my next expedition, probably one of the Utah trips whether it's Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, or Grand Staircase-Escalante. And I'm definitely going back to the Mojave National Preserve.

What transpired there with my daughter has essentially ruined her life. My daughter has learning differences , not on the spectrum. We had complained about a boy who my daughter said was obsessed with her. We requested for her to not be in the same classroom as this boy, request denied. Then one day her mood shifted and she cried every morning not wanting to go to school. She couldn't tell us what happened. It was too traumatic for her to voice it. She was in 4th grade. Her behavior was very anxious and not able to stay in the classroom. They tried to accommodate her by spending time in the principles office. She was still not able to stop panicking. We had to take her out. 5 years of therapy later it was revealed she was sexually assaulted in the bathroom by the boy. She is still traumatized by it and probably always will be. We have been through hell. Suicide attempts , inability to focus, an eating disorder etc etc etc. she is now in 10th grade having to be held back a year because of lost class time due to the trauma. And disgustingly this was not an isolated instance. The one family we became close to who also left discover the same boy sexually assaulted their son. I'm not saying the school itself is awful in sure there are amazing experiences and caring teachers. And for many we met there this is the only option so you naturally choose to accept or maybe turn a blind eye to red flags. I don't know if the head of school has changed but she was awful. Good luck!
