I'm not sure why this guy gets so many praises. I was going through my former photos to look for some professional shots I ended up taking with another photographer. And that's how I came across some old messages from several years ago that I had originally exchanged with Charles when I initially considered his services. Now that these messages have brought back unpleasant memories of my exchange with him, I just want to say that he isn't as fantastic as what most people say he is. I personally felt like he was pretty snooty and didn't even want to consider my business because I obviously didn't have a huge engagement or wedding photo session for him to make more money from. I'm glad I saw the red flags and he didn't even bother to do my professional photos so I could take my business elsewhere. I went in thinking I looked gorgeous and pretty with nice make up and beautiful hair style but he completely changed my mind. He patiently showed me on how to post and at what angle before the photo shooting and constantly reminded me during the session so I could maintain best posture for great picture result. After that, we systematically sorted and selected best picture(s) together on a big TV screen. Here was what the magically thing happened. Charles started touched up on the best picture I chose. He has a small and intimate photography studio with his work hanging on the walls, and ample space to photograph and showcase his images. I reached out to Charles because when I previously interacted with him he was fun and kind. I booked an appointment for my business headshot as I was opening my own law firm (woot woot!) and they were a necessity. Needless to say, Charles took various photographs in great angles and I chose my favorite of them all. Thereafter, I booked Charles for my engagement photos. I chose Joshua Tree and Charles made it happen with the help of his assistant, Vince. The four (4) of us had the same vibe of positivity, creativity, and happiness so the experience was excellent. Charles made sure that he gave me pointers such as what to bring to the photoshoot, to ask for a permit from the park if needed, and what to expect. During the shoot we laughed, bounced ideas, and had some champagne at the end. We were delighted to have taken some photographs in the daylight, sunset, and darkness of the desert.
