After buying a home in New York, my wife and I thought we were ready for anything the Bay Area market could throw at us. Wow, were we ever wrong. It's tough out here. That's why we consider ourselves so lucky that we found Ana and Pascal. I really don't know if we ever would have found our dream house - let alone actually managed to buy it with our sanity intact - without their hard work and constant guidance. They were there for us for whatever we needed, anytime, anywhere. There were a million open houses going on at once and we couldn't figure out what was worth seeing? No problem. Ana would give us her personal recommendations - all based on real legwork - and help us devise a plan of attack. We drove past a house with a "coming soon" sign in front of it? No problem. They'd find out if the house fit our criteria, track down the listing agent, and arrange the earliest possible opportunity for us to go scope it out together. We're looking at a fixer-upper and unsure if it's more of a project than we can handle? No problem. Pascal would walk through it with us and point out everything - good and bad - that we needed to know to make an informed decision. (Pascal has the eye of an architect; he'd routinely notice things that the inspection reports either missed or just glossed over.) It's 10:30 at night and we have some tiny, inane question that's nonetheless driving us nuts? No problem. We'd send Ana an email, and we'd usually have the answer we needed to restore our peace of mind by 10:32. And when it came time to start putting in offers, they were there to guide us through every step of the process and to help us keep a level head. How to begin. We met with Ana and Pascal in late January to discuss potentially selling our home. We ended up doing an off market in early February at their suggestion. Throughout the whole process which lasted only 12 days until we accepted an offer, they were continuously responsive and our anxiety reducers.
