There are no concessions, but the event sponsors didn't have a problem with people bringing in food. I don't know if renovations are being done, but upstairs and some stairs were closed. We came to visit during the Miami Film Festival - it gave the movie an aura of greater casual fanciness being showcased in such a venue. Easy entrance and easy exit; lots of food options across the street st Julia and Henry's and on the weekends - farmers market with delicious hummus and Italian delicacies. The outside covered bar was neatly displayed with their rum bottles and the patio area had different seating options such as tables (loved the black and gold) and comfortable patio couches and chairs. People were enjoying the drinks, music, and even had a domino table. There was a nice backdrop to take pictures and the area had nice green plants to give a real tropical feel. As the night carried on the actors and people who saw the show all piled out to enjoy the music that was blasting some old school Spanish tunes. It had people dancing the night away. We had to jump up and try our best salsa moves too, lol. Manny and Gio showed us true hospitality and gave us some history on the origins of this show. I had no idea that Bacardi is not actually Puerto Rican rum but the original and true recipe comes from Cuba. There's alot of cool history here and I would recommend all to check it out, it's really interesting. I bought the tickets because I had heard from a friend the show was excellent. Mind you someone who does work in the show but at the time it was popular but nothing like it is now. (Couple months back). I got them for my husbands birthday. Didn't know what to expect. We got here a bit late. We were at a previous event. But we honestly thought we had some time before the event started. Little did we know the whole thing was an experience. As we walked to the front we were greeted. Explained that the show is "violent" and some people do get defensive. Eh I don't so I wasn't concerned. My husband I told to chill but he understood and we went on in. As soon as we got inside it's a bar. You have multiple options for drinks. We tried our best to try them all. We almost did and they were all phenomenal! When we were done with the cocktail hour we started the show. Everything was amazing. Without being revealing the show is interactive about a snippet of time in Cuba when it came to a business. Whatever "experience" you chose (the person you are following) it personalized this time even more. It gave a very interactive description of a time in Cuba where all the more serious communistic changes were happening. Perfect way to glimpse into history. Putting you in the spot. Honestly I wish more plays were like this. Drinks are amazing. I couldn't be happier. Both times in both Bars the drinks were fantastic. My favorite came from the entrance bar but the exit bar is just as good. Recommend the play to all. However I did hear it sold out. So hopefully they open more dates.

The Center inside is beautiful and we were impressed. Our seats were in the third row so we had a great view. Our seats were comfortable and our knees did not touch the seats in front of us and others could walk past us comfortably. The main plot has Sophie being raised on a Greek island by her never married mother Donna. Sophie schemes to find her dad once she reads her mother's diary and learns that Bill, Harry and Sam were her suitors. Sophie invites each of Donna's three would-be fathers to her upcoming wedding, much to Donna's chagrin. Critics called it a silly amd unbelievable play but we enjoyed it. The cast got a standing ovation. Parking is not easy in that area so we ubered over there. Being stress-free always works well for us. We plan to go again soon.

Have some lunch/dinner nearby and then watch a movie there while eating some ice cream for dessert from Azúcar (located right in front of the theater) or you cold even pick up some snacks and wine at the concession stand if you're into that kind of thing. You really cannot go wrong here! Here's a tip: Since they only have 2 rooms and limited show times I'd recommend you search which movies they have available first and when they'll be playing them before spontaneously going, just in case. The latest movie I saw was Minari and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as per usual.

This kind of spectacular theater me really makes a city come to life with the old early 20th century look, the cute typical old style facade, and the Tower Theater is no different to many others you've seen, adding so much class and quaint gorgeousness to this area - and I can't help but think it's one of the most crucial pieces of architecture here. Prices for events aren't too high and I'd love to play here someday.

Secondly the type of shows done there are far more adult oriented... shows like stand up comedies (which we know can be foul mouthed) and of course the two times I have gone there including the most recent has been to see burlesque/cabaret.... which is certainly someplace you want a secret entrance for... The most recent show there, Erika Moon's Burlesque Avant-Garde was incredible. Certainly something you don't expect to see in theater. It was fun, sexy, funny, and memorable. I had seen one of her prior burlesque shows at this theater about 3 years ago with an ex of mine (Erika Moon's Burlesque Maginfique). Most recently I took my brother and a very close yelp friend of mine to it and we all loved it... I know I certainly did... I think my jaw dropped dozens of times. It's a small, very intimate space... you can see what's going on the stage simply because the space is so small. It also has a small bar which serves snacks, beer, wine and hard liquor.. and it's brought to your table while you are watching the event... again a difference from the main stage. I think it's a wonderful little venue and certainly one which I have fond memories of. I recommend anyone in the area or in miami to try this theatre out and the different types of shows it gives you won't find in your typical theater.

We are very happy we did! The venue itself is great. It is theater style, with about 15 rows each with about 15 seats. Their are tables to the sides of the venue. The stage is raised and the back half of the rows are tiered. Every seat has a great view. Not a bad seat in the house. The help was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything about this place is great. We saw Motown Magic, who were excellent. The variety of shows is very good. Overall, I would say that our experience was wonderful. We will check who is playing there and buy tickets whenever we comeback to our condo in Florida.
