I've come for New Years Eve twice, and the bonfire event they put together is so much fun. Even in the rain this past year, it was a great time. I've been here at many different times in the year and the park is always filled with people enjoying the benches, gazebo, and playground. It's a great spot to enjoy a picnic or ice cream from one of the downtown shops.

At night time, all the pretty lights come on!

great place for all levels of riders either it be BMX, Skate, or Scooters. there is something for…read moreeveryone. the park is clean and well maintained. there is an indoor and an out door facility which is a plus for when the park gets packed. the park also recently added a bunch of new ramps that really adds to the flow and style of the park. they also offer a great scooter retail section along with a clothing (shoes, shirts, pants, hats, eye ware, helmets, headphones, etc...) BMX retail is ok if your looking to upgrade some of the smaller items such as bars rims stems etc... and the skate department has everything you would need for any complete. i am really pleased with how family friendly and detail oriented the staff is and everyone seems to have something good to say about the park. and finally YES, they installed a HUGE industrial sized AC in the park which keeps the park at a ride able temperature during the summer and they also have heating for those cold winters. and rentals include bikes, skateboards, scooters, and helmets for a minimal charge. and i also was very pleased to find out they offer the facility to be rented out for private parties and birthdays for only a charge of $50 per hour!!! in my opinion this is a great deal from other places i have ridden. not to mention after their free ride session is over the charge is only $3 how cheap is that? AWESOME. I will definitely be returning to the park! =] OHH! side note: the facility has recently changed their name form atascadero skate park to A-Town Park (since they allow all sports in the park) bmx skate scoot inline etc. so if your searching for the park type the new name in!

The first time we went the woman at the counter was a bit abrasive and rude. She made our child uncomfortable with how she spoke to them. We thought maybe a "off day for her" when we swung back through the town on our way back my husband said we should stop again. My kids where not thrilled as our first time was dicey with counter help, but wonderful with rest of staff. Again, the woman was at the counter. She was again abrasive and rude. Didn't explain rules, but if any kids did anything she was all over them shouting. There is an area for parents to sit, but as sitting there I heard her say to another parent, "I hate when people come from out of town! I think this park should just be for locals!" Well lady.....we will oblige and want to make sure others know that outsiders are NOT welcome. The other staff especially the male owner was great and obviously trying to "make up" for attitude and behavior of this worker.

Well laid out, well thought out. Congratulations Paso Robles for creating a really fun, kid…read morefriendly park! First of all, the equipment is colorful. I am talking bright orange and lime green colors. And it is all in great condition. Secondly, it inspires creativity. It is not just jungle gyms and swing sets. There are zones for music (bongo drums, an unusual keyboard for playing), sand play (multi level surfaces with containers of clean, moist sand), places to crawl, jump, climb, swing, and best of all, surfaces that surround the equipment that are safely bouncy (rubberized). Not only are they easy on both little and big feet, but also perfect for those unexpected little spills and tumbles that usually end up with boo boos, splinters, scrapes, and tears. A lot less of that here. Then, there is the little amphitheater behind the large, well maintained bathroom building. They must be some rocking, good entertainment there sometimes. The grasses and shrubs are kid friendly too. I saw small children bending over to see a discovery, probably a lizard or something, that called the tall grasses around the perimeter of the park his home. There are also adult friendly benches and picnic tables. Definitely a great place to bring the little ones.

The Templeton Park is a 3.5 acre park a block away from South Main Street. The park looks to be well maintained and clean. It has big canopy shade trees, green lawns, children's play area, swimming pool, gazebo, group picnic areas with Santa Ana bbq grills, and public restrooms. There are paved walking paths. Great for a walk about. I saw lots of folks seizing the moment and enjoying a blissful summer day. The park hosts community events... farmers market on Saturdays 9am-12pm and summer music concerts to name a few.

Templeton…read morePark proved once again that it is the perfect place for a family event on a recent cold and rainy Saturday. We knew it was drizzling, but hadn't had a message that the party was called off, so we headed up to Templeton Park to meet up with the rest of the family. At first the park looked empty, then we spied a group gathered in the picturesque gazebo in the center of the park. We parked close and walked over to discover our far flung family gathered for a festive birthday. The gazebo! Of course! Great shelter from the rain and room for at least thirty people to mill around. The kids were lining up for pin the tail on Pikachu as we arrived, then they took turns battering a pinata till the candy cascaded to the cement. As the rain came and went, the kids could run in and out of the shelter while we grownups congregated on folding camp chairs or just stood around chatting. We welcomed the rain and were so happy we got to safely enjoy an outdoor event!

They were parked outdoors and it was cool to be able to walk up to the planes and tanks that our military used in different wars. There was also an enclosed area with antique cars. There was a gift shop with souvenirs for purchase. This museum was impressive and well worth the time to visit.

What an amazing surprise to find such elaborate and well-designed escape rooms. We did all four…read moreover the course of a week during a two-week drive around central California. Everyone at Margarita was super nice, and you could tell that everyone involved with the escape room were hardcore enthusiasts. Rita's is their stand-alone, which was a lot of fun and was challenging but not frustratingly so. Definitely can do it with two people with minimal to no hints. Renegade is where they really bring it in terms of design and puzzles. We escaped Retrofit but needed help, and Episodes 2 and 3 were very challenging (we did not escape). Having a third or fourth person would have helped. I can't say much without spoiling anything, but they definitely put their love into this one. It is the same set for all three chapters, but certain elements are only active depending on which episode you're playing. But if you hate lock heavy rooms then this one is for you. I think just about every puzzle you solve leads to the next one without ever having to spin numbers or letters on a lock. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping off here. Plenty of parking and there's Ancient Peaks wine tasting room with a menu across the street. Or The Range or The Porch not too far up the road.

All are hig quality and all are functional. The wagons are used in movies, weddings and other special evemts and it is easy to see wht. Tom Harris lives the old west and his knowledge isextensive. The tour is a real eye opening experience to early California. The historic bar and pipe organ are fun and of course the Sttab ride, and stories about the history of stages in California are real eye openers. The tour and stage ride are woderful. A must do event!
