What a wonderful, charming little store! We visit this village every year for apple picking but had…read morenever stopped in before--and we were definitely missing out. The owners are incredibly nice, and their selection of homemade preserves, jams, mustards, and pickled items is incredible. Their apple cider was also delicious and so refreshing. They were even giving out samples, and honestly, you can't leave without taking something home! The quality is amazing, and you can truly feel the love that goes into everything they make. They are open every day. Farming and running a shop like this can be a thankless business, and most people don't realize how much hard work and expense goes into it. It feels great to support a local business like this as much as possible. Highly recommend!

I visited this country store after apple picking since my friends and I were craving apple cider…read moreand my experience here was pretty good. The apple cider was good, but I would've preferred it to be colder and not served in a Styrofoam cup. I'm assuming that's because it was the end of the day and it looked like they were running out of apple cider and other materials. I also got the apple cider popsicle for $2 which was a good deal. It was good, but I didn't like how the juice separated from the water during the freezing so it tasted like regular ice by the time I got to the core of the popsicle. For food, I tried their Strawberry Banana Sweet Bread and that was my favorite thing! It was not too sweet and moist. It was $6.50, but not too bad for a whole loaf. The interior was fun and rustic. There are several things to shop for from different baked goods to nic nacs. The service here was pretty good and the staff seemed nice and personable. There's some parking out front as well as some picnic benches and tables with nice views of the mountains and foliage while you enjoy your treats. Overall, a good stop for some casual shopping and to enjoy a sweet treat if you're ever in the Oak Glen area.
