Raspberry picking was so much fun! For $20/3-pint flat (or $10/pint), we waded through the summer brambles and picked so many delicious magenta gems. We gobbled some raspberries straightaway at a shaded picnic table and made jam with the rest. A special shoutout to Josh, whose smiling kindness, excellent knowledge, and extra-thoughtful offer to split a full slushie into two cups for the little ones in our group made the visit even better. The store is wonderful, too, with homemade jams, jellies, and canned fruits and vegetables, olive oils and vinegars ($8/tasting), rustic merchandise, and a backroom bar featuring homemade wines ($20/5-wine tasting or $12/glass). They have an amazing selection of pick your own, GORGEOUS flowers, amazing raspberries, and a warm inviting feeling. Lots of parking. They are really fair in pricing, all things considered. People don't understand the costs to keep these things running and farmers do a lot to keep this open and to feed people. It's a wonderful experience, and at least they have normal working restrooms. It's definitely doable to go around most of the property, provided you don't have physical limitations, and it's not baking hot outside. There is a lot to see, and I love this farm. They have wonderful events for the family, such as Christmas shows, Revolutionary War reenactment, and bbqs. They also have stations for making your own cider. Great place.

The entire place is set up like colonial America, and the attention to detail is incredible. All of the staff stay fully in character the entire time, and their costumes are beautifully made and very detailed. It really adds to the whole experience. The farm itself isn't your typical farm,it's more of a historical village with different stations set up to demonstrate things like candle making, crocheting from that time period, how the judicial system worked, and even the types of games people used to play. One of the highlights was the Revolutionary War reenactment at the end, where the kids actually got to participate as soldiers. It was such a cool experience and also really educational at the same time. I went as part of a school group, but you could definitely visit on your own and still have a great time. The food was good, but the baked goods were the real standout -- fresh breads, pies, cookies, homemade ice cream, shakes... everything tasted amazing. I also liked that you can order ahead online and just pick up when you get there. The staff were incredibly patient and kind with the kids, even when they got a little impatient, which I really appreciated. Overall, it felt like being transported back in time, and I would absolutely love to come back again.

The main reason we go to this market is for their selection of Maine Root soda. They have a great…read moreselection. If my review stopped here, they'd get a great score. They price these sodas at 2/$5.00 or a 4-pack for $8.99. Here is my issue. They stock the shelves as single bottles with none being stocked in their respective 4-pack carton. Every time I'm getting rung up at the register, I ask them about this. I let them know I'm purchasing 4 and should get the price that is clearly tagged on the shelf. It's a literal fight to get them to honor their pricing and at least 90% of the time they will not sell it for the price THEY HAVE TAGGED ON THE SHELF. I've walked out several times leaving the product at the register. The last time this happened, I asked to speak with the manager on duty. When I told her of the situation (and that it happens repeatedl) she apologized and asked me if I could call the next day and talk to THEIR employee to straighten out the situation. As if it's my job to take care of their poor business practices. I'm not a manager there, and I'm not on their payroll. It's their job to rectify the situation, not the customers. If they don't want to honor their pricing, great, take the tags off the shelf. What they need to do is train their cashiers to honor the price clearly tagged on the shelf. That would take all of 2 minutes to accomplish. Another thing they could do is clipstrip some flattened 4-pack holders right there hanging on the shelf (by the tag that clearly states the 4-pack price). It's a very easy situation to rectify. Its not my job, as a customer, to do it. The employees have such a bad attitude when I'm discussing the situation with them. I don't enjoy shopping here. So I don't anymore. As a consumer, I vote with my wallet.
