Don't. Just don't. They might or might not show up as scheduled. You won't know until the time has…read morepassed and YOU call to ask. No, they changed the day, but didn't bother to tell you. Your "Estimate" will look something like this: Fix plumbing $XXXX. That's it. No details as to what that includes or excludes (which is also how your bill will look). You ignore these red flags because you really just need to get the thing done. Eventually, a band of merry party boys shows up. They zip through your home at warp speed, belching all the way and be gone without a word to you in under an hour, leaving a big mess behind. Later that night, you will find you have no water. You place a call to the company explaining that there was hot water before the work was done and someone decides that your relatively new hot water heater, which was NOT part of the work that was done, is broken. A disheveled, clearly hungover person shows up next day to fix the unbroken water heater, says it's working and you're just not letting the tap run long enough, says it was set too low, says it was just installed and done wrong, says that you don't know the difference between hot and not hot. All of the above, and none are true. You wonder which one of you is hallucinating. Later someone determines that it was actually due to the previous day's work. You determine that you are not crazy after all but they still think you're stupid. There is no oversight as to what is actually being done on the property. There is zero communication between the management and workers, customer and workers, customer and management. This company gives ZERO *cares* about you, their business or anyone's perception of it.

Worthless. Made no…read moreattempt to repair the two main issues I was having, but made plenty of excuses as to why he couldn't or wouldn't. Clearly his goal was to get in and out as quickly as possible and to do as little as possible. I guess that's how they make their money. They were assigned to my job by my home warranty company, American Home Shield, and it has become apparent that their business model is based on poor service. The cold water in my bathtub flows at about half the pressure of the hot water even though every other faucet in the house the cold water runs fine. He said this was probably because "New Orleans water is bad" and there was probably some blockage somewhere in the line but if he cleared it out it would just block right up again. What? That makes no sense. If there's blockage, then fix it! I'm thinking that the valve stem probably needs to be replaced, but when I mentioned this to him he balked and got defensive and mocking in tone and was unwilling to even look to see if that could be the issue. In the end, he did absolutely nothing. My cold water still has low flow in the bathtub. Thanks for nothing! The 2nd issue: The stopper in my bathroom sink is not functional. The part at the top that makes the stopper plunge up and down doesn't move anymore due to corrosion. I asked him to get it working and maybe replace it with a functional fixture and he said that it "isn't a plumbing issue." Are you serious? Is this backwards day? His genius solution was just to pull the stopper out. Thank goodness I got a professional out. The only other thing he actually did was pull a little bit of hairy gunk out of the sink. Was that hairball worth my $100? No, it was not. On the paperwork he wrote that he pulled out the hairball "as a courtesy." It's not a courtesy, it's your job! I still have the same plumbing issues as before he came and I'm now short $100. That was an expensive hairball. And on top of all of this, this wasn't even the first time a guy from Mr Plumber came out about these issues. Another guy came out a few weeks prior and didn't address any of my main issues then rushed out to another job. I then had to sit on the phone for an hour waiting to try to talk to someone in India for American Home Shield to get Mr plumber back out. Clearly poor customer service is an integral part of their business model. The home warranty company makes it nearly impossible to actually get anything repaired so that in the end they make money, Mr plumber makes money, and I lose money and am left with the same plumbing problems I started with.

This company is a FRAUD and I hope that everyone considering to use this company will read all…read morereviews and also check the BBB before giving them one red cent. This company was extremely unprofessional to me on the phone. The company knew that they would be unable to fix the issue and still took my money as well as the money from my insurance company to come out and fix my issue. They never called back for the follow up appointment as promised once the funds were received. They lack knowledge, professionalism, tact and education when handling my plumbing issues. Lauren R. (Office Manager) and Autumn (Office Assistant) was unprofessional and very condescending. Lauren stated that Mister Plumber would get their money regardless which meant from myself and the insurance company. The only positive review on here is the review from the "Office Manager" with the same last initials as the owner. How convenient right!

Shelly later emailed one with a forged signature. We were told the part would take 3-5 days to ship, forcing us to spend money on window units for 4 rooms just to survive the extreme Louisiana heat. Then on Sept 4, the tech came back to install the warranty compressor and tried to hit us with a surprise $1,140 "labor" fee. When I questioned it, he removed the warranty compressor, left my system with no compressor at all, and left refrigerant lines open/unsealed. Warning to other homeowners: Carrier will not sell or communicate directly with you about warranty parts, only through these service providers. That means families are often left at the mercy of dealers like this, who take advantage of the situation to overcharge and mistreat customers. It's sad and heartbreaking, especially in the extreme Louisiana heat, because not everyone can afford extra window units, and no one should have to when the part is already covered under warranty. File your complaints and DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS! Complaints filed with BBB, LSLBC, and the Louisiana Attorney General.
