I visited Passmar with my Spanish tutor following a visit to Los Pinos last week. Passmar is a small cafe a bit hidden on the Los Pinos grounds (use Google Maps to find it). It's small but offers some very charming and comfortable outdoor seating under the shade of trees. The property is also popular with the Los Pinos cats, who put on quite a show during my visit - chasing squirrels up trees. I needed a snack before my tutoring session and was pleased that they had such a large offering. I bought a pre-made sandwich and a sparkling juice, which was the perfect, quick, light meal before I started the rest of my day. But they also offered freshly made coffees and other drinks and had lots of food options as well. The service was friendly, helpful, and quick, too. If you're in this corner of Section I of Chapultepec, exploring Los Pinos or just walking by or through, it's not a bad place to grab a quick bite. read more
