They were making fun of me at first for carrying a large baguette through the city, but this bread came in clutch with my group of weary travelers even a few days later after a flight to Merida! It stayed soft in the middle (which is a sign of authenticity!)

It had more of a fresh chewy texture layered with beautiful buttery flavor and filled with a generous thick and wonderful tasting chocolate. It was shaped like a dog, which was cute and fitting because he has a very cute dog at the shop. He served it warmed so the chocolate with soft and even more flavorful. The coffee and other food is also great. The owner Rafael is a legit pastry chef and has a long experience with working in food, which explains why this place is a notch above their cafes in the area. On top. That he is extremely friendly.
