The cost for the evaluation and x-ray was incorrectly processed by Merit, so they sent me the bill. I had to sit on a conference call with my insurance company and Merit to discover Merit electronically billed the visit without record of the payer ID, so my insurance company had no record of a claim. When I called Merit about the bill before my insurance company became involved, I was either sent to voicemail, with a promise to call me back that never happened or I spoke with an office employee that was short and rude. In fact, the office employee was rude to the insurance representative on the conference call. The office admin staff have a lot to be desired. They truly lived up to their 1 star rating!

A special shout out to Ann, her work is truly a work of art my teeth look so good that no one and I mean no one can tell where my real teeth end and the partial denture begins. After breaking a bridge that was in place on the upper left side of my mouth for 30 years, I was very afraid. I had to find a new dentist because my old dentist had retired and I no longer had dental insurance. So I called around and priced several dentists in the area and I am sorry to say I use price and cleanliness as my determining factors. I am so happy that I did! The staff is fantastic and the offices are are clean. Dr. Chris is a master of the partial, making them fit comfortably, securely, beautifully and what a great personality. Dr. Joseph is always there with his sweet smile and his knowledge of exactly what you need to make your visit safe and make the necessary adjustments so you can eat and smile with ease. Lani helps you feel comfortable right from the start and throughout the whole process, which in my case was a bit complicated. But Ann is the star of the show with her wonderful creative work. Who knew that making teeth look beautiful was such an art. Everyone else not so much, especially the dentist Dr. Williams. My fiancé has extreme dental anxiety and a very bad gag reflex. His first language is also not English, though he is fluent he still gets confused. With that being said our first visit when the assistant asked his birthday, he paused, which she responded with "you have to think about it?" And not in a joking tone, more annoyed. The rest of that appointment was okay, with Dr. Williams being very monotoned and didn't seem to care too much about my fiancé's appointment. When my fiancé came home one day after his fillings, he was CRYING. He said that his gag reflex was pretty bad during the appointment, and he gagged twice at the end which made Dr. Williams put down his tools and said "we are done here". He didn't say anything else to my fiancé and left. He felt very disrespected and upset. Next thing you know, two days later his fillings FELL OUT. At that point we made an appointment with my dentist to get a second opinion on some things as we were not happy with the work that was done at Aspen. My dentist took a few pictures and pointed out that aspen left some jagged pieces of filling, and my fiancés tooth is not smooth anymore? We did end up going back to aspen to fix his fillings and the other issues that my dentist pointed out, but ultimately they only refilled the filling, and again Dr. Williams left the room without speaking to us and left that to his assistant. Not only that but they didn't give my fiancé sunglasses until after blinding him with their light (that is being held on by tape mind you), and they also do not test your numbness before starting their procedures as they had to redo my fiancés anesthesia because it HURT HIM. He was not numb even though we sat for 30 minutes waiting for them to come back and start. He also cried about this appointment due to being in pain and Williams being rude. After seeing all the terrible reviews about him, I wonder how he is still holding a job. That's just terrible letting your customers continue to go through this because of that horrible doctor. I will never recommend Aspen.
