Pasta Boy is what I eat at Taft when I get one of those days where I try to pretend I'm being healthy. Let me explain. The pasta's not that amazing, per say. It's okay at best. There's lots of flies if you try eating there in the place itself, so I normally just get take out. And legit super init, I'm not sure why.
However, when I'm on a budget and I want to eat something that's not horribly drenched in cholesterol and saturated fats, Pasta Boy is a very good option. Normally what I get here is the Pasta Pomodoro, or what's basically tomato sauce pasta with tomatoes, which is pretty fucking great and sulit for P55. They have a very solid assortment of random pasta flavors (including one with pepperoni, which is always a plus) so you're pretty sure to find the kind of pasta you want.
So normally, when I'm strapped for cash and I want to pretend to eat healthy, Pasta Boy seems like a pretty good option. Then after that, I realize I'm lying to myself and I go out and look for ice cream. But this healthy, tasty and cheap option is pretty good for anyone who's not me, I guess. Thumbs up! read more
