The best part was the price - about 30 Euro for both of us for two pastas and 4 glasses of wine.

Not the the "cream sauce" kind. I can tell you that Sto bene is the real deal!!! But first, we had to try the bruschetta with their homemade pesto sauce. Ah-mazing! Probably the best I've had. We also tried their red wine by the glass, and it was very, very good. When the carbonara came out, I couldn't wait to dig in. The crispy bits of bacon were tasty and the dish was seasoned perfectly. All in all, a fantastic meal. The only downside, no air conditioning and their pizza oven heats up the entire restaurant, not it's worth it!!!

The food was just spot on, along with friendly service. They took the time to explain the menu and didn't rush you along. The 1st - 2 evenings we just stuck with the pizza's and loved them all. On our last night we had pasta and pizza. Again just amazing. The crust, the sauce just perfect. I'd highly recommend anyone looking for good Italian food that tastes good and is filling to come try this place out. The prices are quite reasonable compared to many restaurants that offer this type of food or atmosphere.

My dining companions loved their massive pizza (which…read morethey wisely did a 1/2 & 1/2 split on vs ordering one for each of them once we saw how big the pies were). My pasta carbonara wasn't the one I ordered (pomodoro - did I mention the lively atmosphere?) and didn't arrive until my companions were nearly finished eating, but it was outstanding - perfectly al dente, great flavor - I struggled to put my fork down. Luckily one of my dinner dates is the type that just flags any employee down as they are passing which ensured we got what we needed. I might make another stop here during my stay!

It was a group of 6, two ordered carbonara (which was very good), two ordered pizza (delicious), and one order a calzone. One carbonara came out and the rest of sat and waited over 30 minutes from that point to get our food. We repeatedly asked the status of our food and they just gave the same answer "it is coming very soon". Soon is used very loosely. Once all the food arrived, it was delicious, no complaints there. Service just is really lacking. If you want good food and lousy service this is the place to go. The inside of the establishment was very nice, the outside seating is small and if the church bell starts ringing, it rings for a long time and is very loud.

Not very bright for not booking a table. This is a neighborhood gem so I do recommend that you book in advance. We ordered the Veal in Limone sauce and a caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella. The food arrived and it was art on a plate. The veal was perfectly cooked. Lemon sauce to die for and the veggies were a great accompaniment. The salad was beautiful and when added fresh black pepper and a bit of balsamic it was over the top. Service was great. Prices were very reasonable for Salzburg. Highly recommend and your should probably make a booking in advance.

This was a recommendation from our hotel, in fact they called over to make the reservation for us. So our expectations were fairly high. Our servers had absolutely no patience for any of us. They were incredibly rude & impatient. They were not exactly slammed, in between serving, they were on their phones. For what they charge, food was decent, not great by any means. Drinks & wine were good. Items ordered, linguine capesante, caprese salad, margherita pizza, scaloppina Al funghi, risotto was also added. Bottom line, I would not recommend this restaurant to other Salzburg travelers.
