Friendly and relaxed staff pump out coffees to the commuters and then keep the coffee flowing throughout the day. The service was fast and the coffee was delicious - they didn't bat an eye at strange orders such as quarter strength skim lattes and made a great soy fw. There were a few treats to try including the in vogue cruffin which was a sweet treat to help us through our afternoon. Well worth dropping in to grab a takeaway if you are traveling through the Hornsby train station.

But this Kiwi had better be ready for a dance off, for the village already boasts beans from Campos, Danes and Toby's Estate. They've started out well. The staff are relaxed, friendly and obviously proud of their product. They've also matched the (annoyingly) inflated Wahroonga prices. $4 for a large skim cap - would you ever pay that in the CBD? But Columbus also comes with some serious game. The coffee is silky smooth, with hints of caramel and its served at the perfect temperature. And while setting up next door to Pastadelli is a clear shot across the bow, I think Columbus might just have what it takes to conquer Wahroonga.
