The only negative is that they do not really serve real brewed coffee like we think of it. It's something else which Mrs. Yelper knows but I don't. Anywho we stopped at Don Jenaro's for some chocolate and bread. They actually had a bread made out of corn that paired so deliciously with the chocolate. The spot is so cute in the inside it has a few places to sit and it's beautifully decorated with local artisan pieces. There is various types of hot chocolate you can enjoy. I love their semi-sweet. My mom just brought some back from there that's how I remembered to write this. The people were so hospitable. The fact that they had a gluten free bread cake for me to enjoy alongside the chocolate was the best. When I bit into the soft, creamy corn bread cake it made my heart burst of happiness. I could not tell it was any other kind of bread. Highly recommend. Do your research on this place because there's quite a bit of tourist spots around. For example, Janitzio, which is a island within this town that's indigenous and they really know how to celebrate the day of the dead. Enjoy!

Only Starbucks in the City of Uruapan…read more Located in the "Agora Mall Area"... this Starbucks location is comfy...lots of tables, chairs & other cute furniture. This location has 3 sections...an outside area towards the mall, a middle indoor area & another outside area facing a couple of more stores & also the parking lot. Baristas are nice & they have a lot of different desserts we don't usually have in the U.S, so take advantage & try one of those :) Their WiFi is a little slow, but hey! Let's get off our phones & enjoy our coffee with a nice view I'm this beautiful city.

The owner also offers tons of great locally made art like prints and handmade, high quality goods. Check it out!
