We had major electrical rewiring done which produced some gaping holes in our drywall as well as cuts and artifacts around switch boxes. We reached out to Patches in a Day for a quote, send them photos and description of the work to be done and received an estimate within a day. On the day we scheduled Carlos showed up on time and walked around with us to confirm the work to be done, placing blue tape so nothing was missed. He worked for several hours, applying multiple layers of "mud" where necessary and when done was meticulous about cleaning up each area where he worked. His work was that of a master craftsman. We cannot tell where any of the holes or blemishes were. We are very happy with his work and the price was fair. I do not hesitate to recommend Patches in a Day if you need similar work. They came out quickly to give me an estimate and once scheduled, they did a great job on the drywall in my home. It did take a little while to get them on the telephone, I believe that they had a family emergency at the same time as I was reachingout to them. Even so, I wouldn't hesitate to call this local company again if I needed more help with drywall. My house is in a flood plain and constatntly shifting. I have a window replaced and when made level, the opening of the window did not match the window anymore! So I requested that Patches in a Day come out and fix the drywall around the window. We needed patch work done on a large opening in one wall; 'rework' of two openings, the result of poor work done by a HVAC contractor; and closing up the openings where ceiling vents were no longer used. All repair were also textured. Areas where work was done were completely closed off in plastic from ceiling to floor to prevent dust or texture overspray from reaching or damaging surrounding areas. The commitment to protecting our home and the quality of workmanship was EXCELLENT. We cannot say enough positive words about the professionalism displayed and performed. However, getting to talk to someone can be frustrating. We always got a recording that said if we leave a voicemail it will likely be the next business day before we get a callback; and for faster service to send them an email. read more

OMG, what a fantastic company and service for drywall repair! I failed as a YouTube watcher and attempted Diy-er but I couldn't fix my damaged drywall. I contacted Patches in the Day and set up an appointment to repair all the holes and cracks in my home. They came in and set up their work areas very well covering up everything very professionally. Patches In A Day workers showed up on time and immediately went over with me what needed to be done and then got right to work. They drywalled a 8x12 ft wall in my entryway and fixed about 7 other textural problem areas in my living room. The entire process took about 5 hours including 45 minutes -1hr the needed to wait for a he mud to completely dry. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves before leaving. The folks at Patches in a Day came recommended to us by a friend who is a contractor. Our kitchen remodel had resulted in a number of large holes in the drywall for electrical and lighting changes as well as the damage from removing the old tile counters and backsplashes. PIAD came in and completed the work in a day, as promised. I was surprised that they could get it all done in one day, but they did! On top of that, they did a great job with the repairs! You cannot really tell that there was any patching done! They were courteous, and did a great job of keeping the dust and mess in the work area. They cleaned up before they left as well.
