Had one guy come out and give us a 12,000$ quote, not going to happen then I contacted "the 2 brothers", he came out gave us awesome estimate and hired him, they came the next day started w the shed and it was worse then he thought that's fine let's get it done . They finished everything but one section on the chimney box. They gave back and finished the job. Very happy w his work and response time . I hired the 2 brothers to stain my fence, and they did a good job on it, but I had to explain twice that they needed to protect my neighbor's yard if they were going to spray instead of applying by hand. I also hired them to install three sets of window blinds, which was expensive. They installed the blinds, but did not glue on the end pieces, which should have been included. Ross said he didn't have any glue with him, which I thought was strange for a handyman not to have. One of their workers actually threw away one set of the decorative wood end pieces, and when I called them, was told to look through my recycling bin! Will not hire them again. read more

DON'T HIRE THESE GUYS. They destroyed my home by breaking a sprinkler pipe in the attic. Their insurance policy has a water exclusion clause limiting water damage to $5k. They claimed bankruptcy to avoid action from my insurance company against them. I lost $80,000.00 on my flood. You'll be sorry. read more

I honestly can't state strongly enough how amazing my experience with The 2 Brothers was. Ross was responsive, yes, but that was only the beginning. He was flexible, patient and went above and beyond time after time. He is also extremely patient. I had a few moments of stressing out about a few things on my end just before the work was to begin and he knew just what to say and do to bring me back down. Not always the easiest task if I am to be honest! His dedication to ensuring the project is perfection shows no limits. Julio was also fabulous. We found Ross from 2 Brothers quite by chance one day. He gave us an estimate to replace our front fence. His estimate was the best for the work he was going to do. He was on time, the work was done right the first time and has held up well over the years. Since then, we have used him for several things including installing new sliding closet doors, concrete work, dry rot work, painting and other fence repairs. The day we leveled a foundation on our rental property, the front door got stuck and we were unable to open it. I was desperate to get someone out same day to adjust the door frame. I called several companies, which many did not answer and I had to leave a message. I got lucky that Ross from The 2 Brothers answered his phone. I explained the situation and the urgency. Ross was unable to come out as he was working in another city at the time but was able to find someone else from his company to come out within a hour. Julio showed up and was able to fix the issue and also address other door issues with in the house. Ross stopped by later that day to see how things went. He installed a quite complicated faucet, installed new drains in sinks, and got to the bottom of a problem with our outside timer light. Before I found 2 Brothers, I had waited a week for another handyman to show up and do my project . When the day came he was a no show and wouldnt even take my calls, which really left me up a creek with a timely project i needed done. Got on yelp, read reviews and decided to send out a few quote requests. Ross quickly got back to me and came out to see the job. He quoted the job, arrived early the next day and did a terrific job building really strong shelving inside a big walk in closet. Had all the supplies he needed, worked dedicatedly with focus, and even swept up his work area when done.....as if he had never been there. I am so impressed. I hired them twice. The first time was ok. The second time, two guys came. They were willing to do a couple additional things which I appreciated + was happy to pay for. However, once they left I realized the heavy picture I had them hang was just two nails in a wall. When I asked, he said he didn't have anchors. I did. Why would you not tell me that? I can pound a nail. The second problem was a shower valve. He left the safety feature on so it doesn't get hot. Again, why not ask? I don't have kids, it wasn't like that before. They rushed through and charged a lot for the time they were here, which wouldn't be a big deal but now I have to pay somebody to redo something that should have been done right the first time. He was going to come back + fix the problems. He set up a time of noon, came two hours early without letting me know, and we weren't available. At that point I was completely frustrated + done dealing with him. read more

I hired Ross to fix the garbage disposal since they have good review on yelp. Ross was unable to fix it and suggested that I replace it. Soon after that, I started to have leak in the area under the sink. Ross claimed that the leak was caused by the faucet that I had replaced a year earlier. The story does not make sense to me so I ended up hiring a professional plumber and the plumber stated that the garbage disposal was not secured and it almost hit his head when he was working under the sink. Called The 2 Brothers for an estimate to repair about 40 feet of redwood fence which had been pushed over by a neighbor's trees. They came right out, determined that the fence was salvageable and they could shore up the existing structure by sinking stronger reinforcement posts attached to the existing posts. They came back just as scheduled and completed the job efficiently and at the cost quoted. Could not ask for better service. read more
