I've been buying the store cut jackfruit for many months. It's at a premium cost to buy but damn is it good. When framily visits everybody wants to know where I bought it from because they want it too. There are plenty of stores to access the fruit but wherever these guys are sourcing it, it's been in perfect form and tasty. Some of the commentary in the low starred reviews is indicative of problems found in ethnic markets but also of what's affected the nation's grocery in general. On Zeppe'S Website it states price of $16.00. When I questioned the young man behind the register he stated Zeppe's is a small family business and does not own its website. they do not have ability to amend the website and the prices are what is shown in store. They will not honor their website prices. I would have bought the sausage but because I found it "unethical" that they will not honor their advertised website prices, they lost a customer.
