When my colleague referred me to Joylynn (at Path to Publishing) to put the finishing touches on my book and realize my dream of publication, I had no idea that any one person could be a knowledge holder of so many aspects of writing and publishing. My only regret is not finding her sooner. Despite running a successful company for over 20 years, I had a plethora of blind spots when it came to self-publishing. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Path to Publishing on my very first book. I gained incredible knowledge about every facet of being an author. We keep our home pretty clean but the deep cleaning takes time and energy and we had a family party coming up so I wanted a little extra help. The lady who cleaned our home was nice I wish i could remember her name. she showed up with her own supplies and came on time. we did a walk through in the beginning and end. I told her my focus points which were my bathrooms, kitchen, and dusting and wiping down my inside windows. She was transparent with me about one of my showers having mold in the caulking that was difficult to remove and I Understood. I think she did a good job overall but I wouldn't call this a deep cleaning in my opinion. I think if you really want a deep cleaning you need at least 2 people. I think I paid $175 and tipped her $40 as well and I do feel like it was a fair price for the cleaning that was done. I was really hoping baseboards, cabinets, and fridge doors would be wiped down. She did a good job in my bathrooms and oven was clean inside as well but not my microwave. Don't expect them to sweep or vacuumed under furniture tho. I would hire again but maybe 2 people next time for it to be extra clean.

She missed the original edit deadline on the project. We agreed on a revised project deadline and she missed that deadline as well. Tiffany has been working on an editing project for three months with very little progress. Tiffany has been almost impossible to contact regarding questions on the projects status. She rarely responds to emails on the status of the project and never returned one of the numerous phone messages. I would highly recommend finding another editor. It will save you a lot of grief in the long run. She acted like a professional editor until she was paid a retainer.

Once I called about details for the position all this information is sprung on me & I'm out of a gig due to her unprofessional behavior, I've tried to move past the situation & move forward with the agency but every time I call, Regina picks up the phone to argue with me about that situation, attempt to gaslight & rearrange the story just to not give me a job. she ain't stopping no bag but it's just weird that I'm not able to be treated fairly due to her not being able todo her job/ take accountability/ or even be professional & just move past the situation. she makes it personal & IT WAS HER FAULT I wasn't even going to write this but just to warn any future people interested in applying here just skip it I promise you what she offered wasn't even all that it was a two day position... but the fact that all of this happens behind it lets me know this was gonna be bs regardless

I am an author, a publisher and a coach, and I have worked with Path to Publish as well as with Joylynn personally in multiple ways. I have attended their conference, I was a part of a group mentoring program, I have worked with Joylynn as a mentor, and I have used their services for editing, typesetting and ebook conversion. To say they are simply AMAZING is truly an understatement! They work under the Spirit of excellence and everything they do, they do with passion, love, care and grit!
