There was no wait time! The doctor was very professional. The staff members are professional and welcoming EXCEPT the lady at the desk!! In today's news... **Beyond Insulted** They made a copy of my driver's license and then came and took a picture of me with the cell phone. Wtf is that... They took my picture with a cell phone, made a copy of my Driver's license. I waited almost two hours to be Insulted. They asked me to pay even though I had never seen the Dr. And wanted me to wait longer after they took patients that came in after me. I've never in my 44 Years been so Insulted. I have 0 health insurance. I have heart Failure, Hypertension, Anemia, HS, plus other health issues and I was paying Cash/Card. Very sad to be treated poorly. read more

Dr Patino is great and and a knowledgeable Dr, he spends time with all his patients and is the only Dr. I know that would could you something in just by telling him what the problem is so you can get fast relief, and then you go and see him. I was introduced to this office by a friend and at first I was soooo impressed. The staff is easy to deal with, small enough so you feel like you matter and they really show they care... Sound like it might be a great review, but IT IS NOT. I then referred a dear friend, and I went with her to the doctor. First visit good, but I did notice the doc listens briefly and then over-prescribes medicines. Some of the medicines caused her problems, so she stopped and at her next visit when she did not show improvement the Dr. had a meltdown right in front of us... It was insane. He huffed and puffed, and I stepped in to try to understand his frustration, but he was off the chain already. At the end he told my friend she needed to see a psychiatrist. I sat in complete shock and embarrassment that I had referred her. Interesting information for the doc to know, he missed that she had kidney stones and appendicitis. Bottom line you are not crazy if you have a high white blood cell count and a fever around the clock. One final note, in my business we work with doctors offices to help them with HIPPA compliance and this office runs rampant with walls too thin, people that really don't understand HIPPA at all. On a positive note, if they were to work on themselves, this office could be unstoppable. They care a lot and that is indicative by the doctor actually knowing you and giving big hugs, which is almost unheard of these day - don't stop that, but geez work on the rest. read more

He has seen me through many years of family medical problems and healthcare needs. And his staff, especially Paul and Brad, but also all the nurses and assistants, are superlative. Dr Pitino is the best there is. His staff is really sweet and he is a genuinely great guy. When you visit him he will be in the exam room with you quickly so you aren't waiting around for what seems like hours. He makes sure he discusses every ailment you have in detail. And if you don't have an anxious look on your face at the end of your appointment, you might just get a hug. These are the kind of people and this is the kind of place you want to go to when you aren't feeling your best or if you have some concerns regarding your health. Obviously it's hard to be absolutely perfect at a doctors office but there are a lot of reasons why I have been going to Dr. Patino for over 4 years. I have even recommended this doctor to multiple people. The doctor is professional and kind. He doesn't waste time and gets right to the point. I also have really enjoyed some of the staff at this office like Doug Crane. Doug has been there for over 3 years now and he is one of the NICEST individuals I have met. He is great at his job, easy going, and professional. Also, even though I know he is super busy, he doesn't show it and takes time to make conversation. I booked a physical in October of 2014 and the first appointment with Dr Patino was January 2015, I waited 4 months. I showed up yesterday and they told me I wasn't on the calender. After the receptionist looked into it she realized they put me on the calender for January 2014. They told me that I had to come back because I wasn't on the calender - The next available appointment was in April....No Thanks. Not happy at all. I asked for them to have Dr Patino call me but he never called. I will find another doctor. read more

Dr. Patino and Diedre are both wonderful. I'm sorry they employed Douglas, a rude and unprofessional person. I'm in pain and did not have attitude with Douglas, however he decided that he was going to be argumentative and used an improper tone with me. Based on his behavior I unfortunately have decided to leave this practice. Douglas should be trained on how to treat a patient. Even if I was irate, which I wasn't, no employee should ever be allowed to talk to somebody the way Douglas talked to me. It was so outrageous I'm surprised he made it to a position of nurse. You would think someone with an education would know better. Douglas is a disgrace to Dr. Patinos practice and reputation. I'm sorry to leave him but Douglas made it very easy. read more

I had a similar experience to Paige. This is a major pill mill and your appointment will be pushed aside if a pharmacy rep walks in the door--they are his number one concern. I waited nearly an hour at one appointment because he was talking to a rep. Dr. Patino was nasty to me twice--the first time I brushed it off as him having a bad day or me being overly-sensitive. The second time he threw a hissy fit, I decided he would no longer be my doctor. His fit involved a refusal to test me for a UTI because I went to the restroom before I came into the office (if you have ever had a UTI, you know that producing a sample isn't that hard). Rather than allow me to give a sample, he started yelling at me for going to the bathroom and said-I can't help you. He wrote a prescription for pills that offer pain relief--but no antibiotics. The front office staff is really wonderful, but he is way too moody and eager to push pills on his patients. read more

There are not enough words to express my disgust towards the way that MD Patino and his team treats people. Starting with the receptionist that it doesn't matter how many times you will tell her you don't understand Spanish, she just insists speaking in Spanish. Never seen a more incapable person, she's is the epitome of inefficiency. As for the MD Patino, he wouldn't listen to a word of what you have to say, always talking over you again and again, rushing you through all the process, never answering concretely to a question. The guy was hyped or he just wanted money and that's it! It felt like a cow industry: next, next, next! The only person that treat me like a human in that circle was a really nice lady nurse as for the rest, I am trying to block the experience from my mind. I wouldn't have the courage to call myself a doctor if I would be Patino! Terrible professionalism, was traumatizing, I never had such an experience with any doctor and I lived in different countries! Such a scam! read more

Having never been to a doctor before him, I didn't know what to expect. I had major bronchitis and wanted help quitting cigarettes. The staff was efficient and kind. He was energetic and nice! Seemed interested in what I had to say, and eager to talk about everything to make sure we were both on the same page. I felt he was rushed and overbooked. His visits were too brief, so I tried another doctor who turned out to be a quack. It took the contrast to realize that Patino is a good caretaker. read more

I've been going to Dr. Patiño's office for over 6 years. Never have I seen him throw a fit as described above. The reason my wife and I love Dr. Patiño is because he always knows you by name and treats you like a human being. Last year I went through a number of medical issues. I wouldn't have wanted to go through them with a different Dr.. Dr. Patiño Is very personable and always greets you with a compassionate hug. While Dr Patino was great himself the staff were just terrible! The lady that was handling my case was very rude and hung up the phone on me when I asked her about the details of my blood work results. I had to call the office 5 times once every day for a week to get their confirmation that they received a cvs vaccination confirmation! This office is forward leaning in its approach. I have been a patient of Dr. Patino for 3 years. I disagree with reviews that he does not provide enough patient time. In reality he uses technology to review and capture all information (known as an Electronic Medical Record system) that allows him to see trends in care. I find this extremely beneficial. Yet, with this forward lean his non-Group, small office approach provides the feel of a true doctor/patient relationship where I am a person and not just a number. read more
