Could not have had a better experience! My wife had some very specific ideas on how to enclose our old porch. We have had other companies give us estimates for the work, and nobody came close to the professionalism & thoroughness that our consultant (Brandon) showed. He was very honest up front, letting us know in advance the amount of work that would be required (and WHY) to give us what we want. The materials aren't cheap, and were by far the best that were presented to us. We got to see exactly what the room would look like with a visual rendering, and what would need to be done to our foundation to be able to withstand the room being installed. Yes, it was pricey, but after seeing what the alternatives in my area are/were, we decided to pull the trigger. Installation was completed well within the estimated lead time they gave us despite our town being notorious for the amount of time it takes to issue building permits. My wife and I reached out to Patio Enclosures for a quote on a 3 or 4 season sunroom. Savina has lied on multiple occasions she told me the crew never was able to go down the road, when I have a video of them at my ring camera. They rang the doorbell no one answered and they helped theirselves to the backyard And left the gates open, so my animals can get out. They lefy their mtn dew cans around the yard after they would finish they left nails on the ground with my 4. Year old around. I spoke to them about it before and she told me it would be fixed it never was. They didn't flash the sidings correctly they Mickey mouse it: on top of that ms Savina has told me the doors they have would need to be reordered since it has a rainbow and it's oil leaking in the glass and now she is saying she never said that and I never sent the photos. I have the emails. I have the proof. They will leave your yard with trash and all the cement they broke up they don't care. They only work for 3 hours a day. They take the money and leave, you can find a better company, I mean look at their reviews there is a reason why it's only 2.0 stars. This is how they treat their customers. We had an awesome experience with the build of our screened patio, but in March of 2024 we had a panel come loose and start leaking. We've called a whole bunch and emailed and finally got a response that repair man would be coming last Tuesday 9/24/24 ( 6 months it took get this scheduled). Tuesday came and no one showed up!!! been calling them again with no response. Not cool at all!!! $30,000 we spent the patio is 1 yr old. It was 5 months old when we started calling about the panel. DON'T DO IT! Don't sign a contract with these people. Window installation isn't even their main business! It's a side job for them! This company has a con artist for a salesman and a contract with a window manufacturer that will take up to seven months to finish the job. The workers that came out for the installation didn't even speak English! Furthermore, they didn't know how to do the job. I ordered my window instillation in August of 2024! The estimate was 6-8 weeks. It was January when they started the project. The salesman was Greg Ernst and he called me once to tell me that I had agreed to a 12 WEEK CONTRACT IN AUGUST!! He knew he was being disingenuous too. The Latino crew did NOT know how to remove the existing windows. They spent over two weeks in the middle of winter with our window casings wide open. 22 degrees outside! The only person capable of doing the job was Rich Pavel. He was very nice and watched over the job until it was done. He kept the job from extending into February. Finally, when the job was done, we didn't have the screen for one window. It took 3 months to get that. Now I have NO FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION ON THEIR PART! They expect me to pay all of the final payment of $467 without any compensation for my family's discomfort for over 7 months! This Company took the banking numbers off one of my checks and drafted from my account directly! That's wire fraud. I offered them $100 in February to close the contract and they refused! Now they're going to put a lien on our house and sue us for the additional $367! WOW! Watch out for these people. You will wait a year before your job gets finished. read more

My initial experience was ok with patio enclosures in Taunton but now that the warranty is up I'm really pissed off, I have a small problem with one of the knee windows on my sunroom that seal the window from the outside the plastic strips came out on 2 sides not a real big deal, but I have a lifetime warranty so I called them I sent them pictures and described what was wrong it's a relatively simple fix, I worked in facilities maintenance all my life I know how to fix it, but I paid for a warranty so why not let them fix it, she said she need to work up a estimate for labor because after two years only the parts are under warranty, the job for someone experienced would probably take less than a half hour to fix, the estimate was $495 I was shocked, I'm still trying to find out what that includes I've asked but they have yet to get back to me, needless to say I told them where to go, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY after spending $70,000 on a sunroom this is what they do stay away from patio enclosures Taunton, Mass find a more reliable contractor 1/15/2024 Follow up to this review because of this review Dave Hutchins contacted me and apologized for what happened he agreed the the cost was too high for the repair I needed we discussed the best way to resolve the issue and I told him I could fix it myself if I had the parts he said he'd look into it and get back to me he emailed me the parts were on their way and he would call to let me know about shipping, I'm pleased to see a company that actually pays attention to customers and works to solve a problem thank you Dave Hutchins for your help, this is the company I remember dealing with and I'm glad this turned out the way it did read more

I spoke with the Taunton office of Patio Enclosures/Great Day Improvements to schedule a design consultation to turn my deck into a sunroom. On the day of the appointment, the guy never showed up. I called and was told that he left me a message saying that he had to reschedule, but I had no message and no missed call. I rescheduled for another date another month out. The second guy was on time and we talked through the job. He told me that he'd have an estimate to me by the end of the weekend. I waited nearly two weeks and then had to call to get the estimate. Given that this company had already demonstrated that it consistently over-promises and underdelivers, I decided that I did not trust them to do a good job on this project and opted not to hire them. read more

Never seen something with so many issues. They did sent service project manger out for a site visit & nice guy but not impressed with his solutions. Many issues they let installers transport enclosure with product not protected. One windows needs be replacement & slinging door also has issues. A lot scratches on interior frames. The biggest issues the frame materials were not 100% coverage when painted. No way fix this with touch up paint. I was told this is normal repair. Would not recommend using this company quality is poor at best.... read more

Chose Patio Enclosures to do our sun room in March 2022. Was told it would take time for the materials to be built, but once construction began the salesman said it would only take 2-3 weeks to complete. Construction began the first of June. There was one "screw up" after another! Too many to mention them all! Just a few- the supports for the room were put in the wrong place, the electrician knock the slider off the track and broke the screen leaving without saying anything. They lost a screen and was told it was put on a truck but they don't know what truck and couldn't find it! They didn't come back for over a month and left supplies all over my lawn - wood and stuff in boxes! Took them another month to clean their mess up! (Pictures attached) The floor was installed and was damaged and had to be reordered ,pulled up and reinstalled. And that is only a few! I kept all communication with this company and can document all my complaints. We had no use of the room all summer!! Little did I think it would take them until October to finish this room which was not exactly like the salesman described it would be . He was new with the company and really didn't know the product. They sent me a satisfaction review . Needless to say it was not a good review! I sent a a certified letter return signature required to the general manger citing all my issues and got no response. We had a patio enclosure done by Great Day a year ago. Josh , the salesman was fine but when it came time to install they showed up with not the correct supplies and were almost going to take down the posts of our 1900 Victorian house! Luckily we were there to stop them. They used a mediocre metal flashing to complete the outside front porch and front deck.I have since finished the deck myself for 60 bucks! A hail storm dented the door, deck and front panels, so not too sturdy.One of our screens is super hard to remove be abuse the channel is crooked. When asked what color Trek Deck was used on the front step , they gave me the wrong color which cost me 300 dollars. All in all not a good experience at all. read more

just a quick tid bit, as far as being a customer, the product isn't horrible. it is definitely over priced Because in all reality it costs about 5-6 thousand materials shipping and their workers to come build it for you. But they're gonna charge you 60-90 grand for a subpar product tell you it's 10% off. They will promise a picture perfect room but you will have defects and blemishes. Unpainted/scratched metal and bends from over tightened straps. If something is missing, it WILL take a minimum Of 2 months for someone to even answer the phone and order your glass or missing piece, never mind receive it and get someone to come by and install. Being a customer is an absolute nightmare as far as working for this company it is a waste of time. I worked for this company 3 years straight, I recently had my first true issues getting there due to an accident and ended up being terminated right before getting my vehicle back. they offer 20$/hr pay which is absolutely trash in this economy, garbage benefits that WILL NOT kick in for a year. 50Hrs a week would be fine, if it was a set schedule. You will arrive in the morning and REGARDLESS if you have important meeting/ appointments to get to they are going to change the plan for the day and everything will be in shambles. Everything you loaded on your truck the night before will be useless because the plan is going to change in the morning so being prepared beforehand is literally impossible. 90% of the time I was driving around in an UNREGISTERED AND UNINSURED work truck. long story short, I wouldn't purchase from this company, but if you want to go through a year long rigmarole of playing cat and mouse for premium items you paid for months ago, to each their own. Do not do it, when you call for in home consultation, they will get right back to you. Never leave you alone. Me and my wife felt pressured. we wanted the room but my gut told me to slow down. we ended up getting our room. The first day my 10 pound dog, yes 10 pounds we right through the screen. I called for service, no one responded. called again they said it would be 530 dollars. Totally did not listen to me. then they said Oh,let us see if that was under warranty, ( like they did not know ) that was 6 weeks ago. I still have not heard back. I just contacted corporate, I will keep you updated. They never went over how to take the screens out, the other screen door went off the the track and can not put it back. I had 2 window and door companies try to help me and they did not know how to do it. Its just so disappointing that people do not stand by their work. The workmanship was good, the room was good, the service left such a bad taste in my mouth. All they had to do was come to my home and fix a screen and show me how they come out so i could fix if broken again, I would have given them 4 to 5 stars. I contracted with Patio Enclosures /Great Day Improvements in the fall of 2021. I was hoping the room would be ready by Christmas but due to COVID and other issues it was not. While we did encounter several bumps along the way, their office manager Theresa Seay, kept me apprised of the status to the best of her ability. I also worked very closely with the Chad Williams, the area manager. Some of the issues were inherited; some were due to breakdown in communication but all along the way, I was given updates and they all, including the sales person Mark Baxter made things right (even if it was behind the scenes.) I love my patio room and would recommend giving these guys an opportunity. I already have two people that are showing interest in doing something similar at their homes. If I had a business, I would hire Theresa to come work for me. I feel like I've gained a new friend and we've never even met. Great experience and don't ever let Theresa go!!! read more

Our sunroom project was pretty complicated. The existing structure that was to support had to be removed, engineered and rebuilt. The new deck and sunroom has now been installed and I can tell you that it has been a very good experience. This is one of many large remodel projects I have undertaken and this is a prime example of you get what you pay for! Artie and his construction crews are great. I was always kept in the loop of who, what and when would be at our house. Timeframes are not always perfect for any construction project but I felt any delays were reasonable. I contacted this company to come out and do an estimate on a deck I was not using turning it into a 3 season porch. The sales rep was pleasant, walked my wife and I through all the particulars and drew up a schematic and listened how we wanted the design from top to bottom. Within 3 weeks, the materials were ordered and the porch is now almost completed and looks great. Prices were moderate and the workmanship and quality was excellent. Every individual from the office to the contractors to the designers I have come into contact with has been pleasant and helpful and I could not ask for a better project to be completed. read more

Avoid. You can get a better sunroom built by a good contractor. In my experience this company was difficult to work with and not very customer oriented. After a few years our sunroom is still standing with no leaks, so that's something at least, but the door handle and lock had to be replaced twice already (flimsy), and the rollers in the sliding door are shot, making it quite difficult to open and close. Of course, you can only get replacement parts from them. If I could do it again I'd get an independent contractor to build a real home addition. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before contacting patio enclosures as our experience has been similar to others. We were completely mislead from the beginning, starting with the salesman. We spent a lot more money then planned as we expected to get the quality they sold us on. It has been a year, the room has not passed final inspection from the town due to the hack job that was done. Since December 2021 I've filed 4 complaints with the better business bureau, still no resolution. The office manager rarely answers the phone or returns messages. We still have unfinished work. The screens came ripped, the rubber casing around the windows has holes in it so bugs easily get in. The deck underneath was built incorrectly and they did a hack job to fix it. The downspouts were not connected to the room and are not aligned properly. The lack of customer service and response to our requests shows how unprofessional this company is. My advice is to steer clear and go with a local contractor. I wish I had. read more

I have been waiting 12+ weeks for a simple 3' wide panel. 2 windows and slider came defective from factory, and deck extension posts not square, deck boards not flush with frame board, facia board does not line up with existing. At first, I was excited about getting new windows on my porch. It slowly turned into a daunting process. The office manager kept telling me that contractors were scheduled on certain days. After waiting for hours on end for them to show up, I was forced to call for an update. At that time, the office manager, Becky let me know that they called in sick. This continued for about a week until I canceled the job. The next day, without much notice, I was told that they would be there in an hour. The contractors did an ok job installing but left big gaps and it was unfinished. Also, the windows on the left and right did not match, and were told that I had to pay $3300 to correct this. The office manager was now pressuring me to sign off on the job even though it was not finished. This went on for a few weeks with me refusing to sign off on the project. They finally sent a crew to correct the gaps and missing trim. I finally signed off on the job. My advice to you is that though this company may have nice products, their company is poorly run. They lack communication skills, common sense, and the same ole' bait and switch syndrome. Buyer beware. read more

Called Patio Enclosures and told the woman who answered the phone that I had received 3 quotes from local contractors in my area. Told her what my budget was 35k max, and asked her if this was realistic. She said she wasn't sure, but it didn't sound unreasonable. She then went on with her"canned speech" about Patio Enclsures and what they do. She told me to make sure BOTH decision makers were home when the salesman came, and could I do that? (First Red Flag) I can obviosly make a decision, my wife and I have been discussing this for several months. Then after the speech she said it would take about 60 to 90 minutes for the Sales person to assess the project. (another red flag typical high pressure technique that a lot of in home sales people use). I booked appointment anyway. She scheduled the appointment for a month out. Found that odd for an estimate, but figured they could be busy. Month later arrives 15 minutes before the "Appointment" I get a call from Sales person saying that they will be 15 minutes late. Ok, stuff happens. 45 minutes later salesman arrives. Comes in with samples, looks at area and starts to discuss what we need done 2 hours later he says I think I have all the info I need, lets go discuss the final details. 2 hours later (4 hours total on a Friday) he presents a price of $87,000 , but they have a special price for me if I sign now of $67,000. WHAT A TOTAL WASTE of MY TIme and MY WIFE'S. Typical Sears home improvement, Empire Carpet sales technique. They try to wear you down then they have a "special" price for you if you do it now. I told him I had lower prices by 25-27k with local contractors. He asked me to see their paperwork, they started to pick it apart. I was exhausted and had to leave for another appiintment. I was interested in getting some more information about the cost to install a sun room for our back deck. Of course, the company gives virtually no information on their cost or any way to realistically find a reliable figure online. I was told that the presentation would range between 60 and 90 minutes, so I figured a Friday night at 6pm would be fine. The sales rep was at our house for 3.5 hours, almost until 10pm. The initial cost that he quoted us was $70k (which was the MSRP). He did the typical "let me show you all our discounts" thing, which brought us down to around $50k. Granted, the materials all seem to be high-quality, and they're all aluminum and glass, but $50k for a 12x14 room seems very excessive. I would suggest that Patio Enclosures work to give customers at least an idea of price range before wasting their employees' time and prospective customers' time. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are a nightmare. We have been working with them for almost a year now and trying to get our sunroom corrected as it failed inspection. It is still not finished and they recently took our roof off and now it is raining onto plywood and potentially causing water damage in our home. They are not reactive when trying to discuss problems with them and there is also a lack of communication between management and the workers in the field. If I could give a minus stars I would. This company is a fraud. They built a cheap structure that is already coming apart after a few months. The roof leaks now as well. They breached the contract several times and now I have to sue them because they never finished the job. The big crew they said they had was one carpenter and a helper. They averaged 6 hours per day and the job was a mess. They filed a permit application for a sunroom when the contract was for a 4 season room. Needless to say, I got a sunroom not a room that meets the MA building code requirements for an all season room. They lied just about everything they said they would do. They have 4 complaints with the Attorney General and dozens with the Better Business bureau. My best advise is run as far as you can from these people. My experience with the company in building a 3 season porch was difficult. Had to call them back numerous times for roof leak 3-4x. Still never fixed .I sent them photos to show where their trim work had left a hole into my attic space in same area where roof has been leaking for 3 years. Just very shoddy work. They accused me of creating whole. Just got tired of dealing with their ridiculousness and hired a roofer to fix. No problem since done right.
