My fur baby has been going to Patricia's Pretty Paws for over 6 years. She is a golden doodle and has a long shaggy coat. Patricia grooms her just the way I want her with just her face, feet and bootie trimmed up. Her son, William, helps because my baby is 80 pounds. Both of them treat my girl with such kindness. She always looks like a million bucks when I get her back. It says something for a business when your business comes from referrals and not advertising. Patricia will be moving out of state. I messaged back and forth with Patricia and she was so informative and helpful. She got me in the same week which was awesome. My dogs very skiddish and has really bad separation anxiety which I let Patricia know when she arrived and she assured me not only would my dog be safe, but he would be very well taken care of and loved. She finished the job in one hour and my dog looked great!! He was so soft and smelled great! He did not have the typical anxiety I have noticed after other grooming visits. The staff was very nice to myself and my dog. Unfortunately, the haircut they gave my pup was not to my liking. It was patchy in most areas of her face and body. I had asked for it to be cut all around in the same length. When I went to pick up, the lady told me that it looked like my pup had lines of hair around because that's how her hair was. I looked closely at it when I got home and it's patch work all around. Not happy. As if getting an appointment with them wasn't difficult enough. We played a round of phone tag for a week. read more

Only groomer my dogs like. It might take some time but she is very thorough very gentle with them and all the dogs that I've ever seen in her place love her. Our Saint Bernard would just lie in her grooming salon and just be brushed all day long but she hated to be brushed at home, and the same with our little cavalier and both were rescues with abandonment issues and they don't mind being at all in her salon. She makes it very homey for the dogs even if they're in a cantaloupe and Max just loves the hair dryers even though he hates them at home. read more

My dog was way overdue for some grooming and she is a scaredy cat for a chow. She doesn't get out much so she was sooooo nervous! I was sad that I had to leave her but Patricia did her grooming so well she was soooo beautiful when she left! Patricia was super patient and caring for my baby and I really appreciated that. I'm definitely going to take my dog back to her! I suggest stopping by the camp instead of calling since Patricia gets pretty busy with her business and helping out at the camp. The first few times I took my dog here, the cut was ok. Marnie is the only one who knows what she is doing and even her cuts seemed to decline over time. Patricia's cuts were patchy and uneven. I like my goldendoodle to look like a teddy bear and they never quite managed to get the cut right. Marnie tried, she always was polite and talked to me about what I wanted my the cut never met my expectations. I guess something was lost in translation. The prices are reasonable and they were kind to my dog but the dog always looks better when other groomers worked on him. read more

The best groomer in town, most reasonable pricing and amazing love and care. I just saw the post from another person disappointed with Patricia's care. I find it hard to believe, as I personally know that Patricia cares more about the dogs in her care than most. I also know, that she actually called this person to resolve the issue, and apparently the woman hung up on her when Patricia was trying to see what she could do to make it right. From what I know, this woman has had issues with other groomers as well, as that is what she told Marni when she booked her appointment. I know that Patricia personally handled this dog, Juno, with love and care, as the woman told them that the dog was afraid of the blow dryer, so Patricia made sure and took extra special care of the dog. The dog was sweet, no blow dryer issues. It is sad that this woman chose to downgrade Patricia's awesome services. I guess you can't please everyone, although I know, that Patricia does her best to ALWAYS please her fur kids and their people. read more
