But it was just one hunk of hair on the left side of my head that I couldn't get it right. It just doesn't blend as nice as the rest of the cut, it's longer and thicker. To be fair, in my 45 years as an adult there has only been one stylist who got my hair right the first time; it always needs to be corrected in that area. My difficulty lies in the fact that over the last 3 days I've made 3 contacts to the salon to correct my hair; an email and 2 voicemails. I have time constraints because we are temporarily down to one vehicle which I did explain in the email and one of the voicemails. I also said I don't need a full service, just please blend this one area. On the day of the cut the Jamila was distracted and hurried - she wasn't who I scheduled with, it was her scheduled day off, and she was late for a video interview. I spent $87.50 of hard-earned money on a cut, style, eyebrow wax, and tips. No one contacted me to see what can be worked out. Totally ghosted. Not professional.

Parking can be a bit cramped if it is busy because the parking lot is small and there is no street parking. One time I accidently missed an appointment but she was very gracious about it and did not charge me . I've been going there about 1 and 1/2 years. I paid over $400 for a balayage and haircut after a consultation where we agreed on a beige balayage and a trim with long layers. Instead, I left with hair that was orange, uneven in tone, and much shorter than expected. I specifically requested a trim and to maintain length with a U-shape. Not only did I lose significantly more length than expected, but when I returned for the correction appointment, my hair had to be recut because it was uneven. $125 for a haircut keep in mind. The color was never what we agreed on. I was left with obvious warm/orange pieces and was told we would need to lighten my hair again to get closer to the beige result that was discussed from the beginning. Even after the second lightening service, the result was still not what I asked for. I now have significant breakage in my bangs and front pieces that did not exist before this service. I had intentionally spent a long time growing my hair out and avoiding additional bleach, and now I'm dealing with damage that will take a long time to grow out. Months, even up to 12months! After I reached out with concerns and provided multiple photos, I received a voicemail indicating she was willing reimburse me. However, when I followed up, no refund was provided. Instead, I felt like my concerns were dismissed. At one point Patricia even suggested that my photos were not true. I ultimately had to seek a color correction elsewhere at additional cost and am now hundreds of dollars deeper into fixing a situation that should never have happened in the first place. The color correction alone was $275. Between the original service, corrective work, and the damage to my hair, this has been one of the most disappointing salon experiences I've ever had. I arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment and checked in. My stylist came to get me about 10 min pass the appointment time. No biggie. She was very nice and did a great job listening to what I wanted all the way through the end. My make up artist picked me up right after and was very patient, listening to my goal for the shoot and checking in with me every step of the way. One disappointing moment: When I asked if they had a yelp checking in reward, the cashier said no, but surprisingly, when I checked in they had 20% off your service. Location is very good, with plenty of parking if you don't arrive close to happy hour as this place is right next to Don Julio Cantina (Margaritas anyone?)
