My absolute favorite bar stop while in Puerto Rico. I was bar hopping down the road in Condado when I saw the sign for Patrick's. I had seen them on the map earlier so was semi familiar. Upon arrival I grabbed a seat at the bar and was able to catch the last few and most important minutes of the Switzerland Columbia world cup game. The bartender, Joe, was FANTASTIC! He was super attentive, friendly and shared many of his traveling stories. The bar was rather empty on the random Tuesday night and I am not quite sure why. The drink prices were one of the cheapest I found in town and the service was great. Make sure you have a dollar bill with you to sign and tape to the wall or ceiling somewhere!! I enjoyed coming to Patrick's Irish bar before heading out for the night. It was close to our hotel so we decided to try it out after one of the employees gave us a flyer while on the beach. They have a happy hour for wings and drinks. We arrived after the happy hour and came anyway, because they have karaoke. The drinks are very strong and the hookah was pretty good too! The night we went, there was only one person working (DJ, waiter and bartender at the same time). But we didn't mind hanging out for the moment and enjoying our hookah. We didn't wait long for our food and the wings were pretty tasty. For a one man show, things went pretty smooth. read more

The drinks were great with cheap beers (i recommend the medallas) and their fruity pebble and skittle drink was perfect for my girlfriend. Ordered a Jameson and ginger ale on rocks, took one sip and it tasted like water. I would not recommend this place. Music is loud but there's no real vibe. Customer service sucks as well so Edit: my partner did say it was watered down. He isnt the greatest at confrontation. The drink literally tasted like water. The waiter didn't offer to replace it or offer to make it a double. Where's the customer service??? And why insert my partner in this if I'm the one that is writing the review? By far the worst experience in PR. Literally every place else I went to was great, from the food to the service. Unfortunately Patrick's is a spot where you hope would be chill vibes with good music and drinks. Their drinks were bad, bottom shelf liquor and even when asked for a mixed drink with top shelf liquor it was still mediocre. The food is a big pass and management has a bad attitude, Just don't waste your time. There are plenty of more places to catch a vibe. read more

Drinks are strong and incredibly cheap, so two stars. They are excellent in getting people into the door. If you would like an atmosphere where you can dance to a love DJ who does a bit more than play videos I wouldn't suggest coming here. The music is a stream of YouTube videos mixed in at awkward moments in an attempt to blend new music in and fade it out. The DJ handles the hookah, is the cook, and one of the two bartenders. When the crowd is too large, drinks and food move at a snail's pace - not his fault, the owner needs to hire more people to handle the clientele. These people advertise aggressively at hotels nearby and promise to offer lower prices - this is true as hotels price gouge constantly. I would, however, recommend paying a bit more to be somewhere nicer, more upbeat, with a staff who can actually handle running an establishment. Also, don't get the hookah. $28 stateside is criminal and only happens with decent hookah. It's terrible and you need the full force of your lungs to actually pull - don't waste your time on that. read more

How many people can say they've been to a Hip Hop playing Irish Bar in the middle of Puerto Rico????? They absolutely sold us on the $20 admission getting you unlimited drinks all night. Where can you beat that? With in and out privileges. Can't beat that with a bat. It's your average club/bar tbh. Chalk writings all over the walls and ceilings which gives it a dope look. The bartenders are nice and the Yelp Check-in perk was a free Jell-O shot which was super strong and actually tasted so good I purchased my second one. The music was exactly as promised. So I'm sitting here now after paying for the all you can drink. You have to keep your cup. The way it was advertised to me was you can walk up and down the strip. Well we went to the Casino and apparently that was the biggest mistake of our lives. They made us throw out our cups of course. When we got back we couldn't get another cup. So $20 down the drain. Yeaaaa not so great. The cup isn't worth $20. The bartender said that they count the cups. Regardless, it's bad business or don't advertise it as that. If i would have known i would have waited and come back. But i won't recommend to anyone visiting the area. I understand rules but it's a cup. Also there was a hole in the ceiling on the bar, so water was dripping on me...My friend ended up with a bug in her drink at some point( important to note that it wasn't there when he made the drink). Wasn't really crowded, always walking room. Good music So an update after the manager replied. Notice how he didn't say anything about the hole in his ceiling or the bugs. But let me be clear how the manager was not present at all this night. There wasn't even a DJ playing. The music was on a loop and stopped playing, the bartender had to come from behind the bar to play the music. So yea no manager. Even then after the bartender spoke with me several times about the cup situation, maybe he should have said let me get my manager. Didn't happen. Me and a friend who only knew each other came in together and both bought wristbands. So my concern is getting my money's worth not how you're going to stop people from giving drinks away on a subpar night. My friends and I were on the beach and were approached by a man who told us about a Hip-Hop party and that it was just $20 for unlimited drinks, it was our first night so we said why not. We arrive to Patrick's and it was exactly what you'd expect for a spot that offers $20 unlimited drinks for the night. It was dark and dingy and dirty! The bathrooms were terrible, the bartender was no good. Saw a sign on the beach that it was open bar on Tuesdays, Wednesday's, Saturday's & Sunday's. DJ played decent mainstream hip hop/rap music. We showed up at 2am on a Tuesday with all of our lottery winnings from La Concha Casino down the street and there weren't a lot of people but still enough to dance without feeling like complete idiots.
