Hookah always hits. The pool table in the back is always a good idea. Love Kaña so much

I went here 5/30 at around maybe 12/1pm. A gentlemen helped me.. first impression.. not very welcoming. 1 smile from I think the only female at the moment.. but the guys are just very bland and not welcoming. I saw them rushing out the African American people next to me which made me feel uncomfortable at the fact they kept asking if they were going to order more drinks or wanted their tab.. and proceeded to speak about them in Spanish. I asked for a latte and guy proceeded to say "I can make you an espresso martini instead" .. I said sure... not a great espresso martini. Way to strong and I left half there as I just could not down it to save my life. He recommended the steak and eggs.. very good but it's a big meal. The guy who made my drink was a bit nicer towards the end of my meal.. side from that this is not a place I would recommend. No personalities at all & again NOT VERY WELCOMING!

Overall had a very average experience. The place gives more bar than restaurant so my expectations were a little low. There only seemed to be one server so service was slow. Chicken and waffles had bacon and egg added for an extra charge which we didn't ask for, but it did taste good. The steak and eggs was lackluster. While it was cooked medium as I had asked, I wasn't too big of a fan of the way it was actually cooked. Everything else was good though. Drinks were good but watered down way too quickly. We also had extra drinks unnecessarily added to our bill so had to get that fixed before paying. It's an alright experience. Double check your bill before you pay and expect to wait a little while.

Cool spot for drinks and hookah . We went on a chill night and at the most ordered French fries.

This was one of my favorite spots when I visited San Juan! Such a cute hidden gem brunch spot. We were seated on the back patio outdoors, which was such a lovely ambiance! Great lighting and super sunny -- perfect way to start the day. My friends ordered the eggs benedict and chicken waffles, and I got the breakfast scramble, which came with eggs, thick cut toast, and potatoes. The eggs were delicious and I loved the texture of the bread! Really fluffy and satisfying to chew. The potatoes also felt very light and not greasy at all. A solid choice! My friends loved their dishes as well. The chicken and waffles looked particularly yummy. Beautiful presentation overall. Really great prices for the large portions you get! They also serve mimosas :) Quick and friendly service too. Definitely recommend checking this place out for your next brunch spot!

What truly sets Kana apart is the service. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, the staff makes you feel cared for without being intrusive. You can tell there's pride behind everything they do. Shout out to Joseph, Max, Xavier, and Khaled!

Large portions and good service. Avocado toast could have used more toasting but was still good.

Staying at the LA Concha Renaissance and hubby and I walked down here to grab food to go. We ordered the wings in both the secret rum sauce and Buffalo. We also ordered the pork pincho and the fish tacos. Customer service was good until.... The staff was attentive and placed our order quickly. However....We waited and waited only to find out the cook forgot to make our wings, but he made the other food, and it was under the warmer waiting almost 10 minutes for the chicken to get done. The server asked me if I wanted the other food now, and I said no. We wanted it all together because we were taking it home. I 6 stand lukewarm food, so this is extremely disappointing for me. I asked for a refund of my money and let them keep the $5 tip I gave when I initially paid

We went here for lunch and were seated indoors. The server informed us that the kitchen was backed up so we were expecting a really long wait. Another server took our orders. Considering the backup we ordered everything at once. Much to our surprise everything did arrive together. We got the spicy pineapple margarita (they were out of watermelon) and pineapple mojito. Pineapple margarita was spicy and strong. The loaded fries was overly loaded with additional shredded chicken and the cheese wasn't melted. We had requested no bacon, so probably the cook decided to replace it with extra chicken. I wasn't a fan of the shredded chicken and the fries needed more seasoning. Our shrimp tacos were good. It was slightly expensive considering lunch for 2!

These drinks and the Pork Pinchos were on point, but pass on the chicken wings!

I stopped and grabbed a Paloma, which was tasty. We didn't eat here, because we have reservations elsewhere. The guys were nice...

AMBIANCE You're in the city so it's an eventful area. There's street parking and nearby lots but your best to carpool or rideshare. As for the vibes, I'm told in the daytime it's a local marketplace that's filled with vendors and other fresh produce booths. It's pretty chill with a nice neighborhood feel. As for the evening, this is where to turn up and get a pulse of Puerto Rico parties. EXPERIENCE Go to your bar, pick your vibe from community, club excessive, lounge feel, live music or etc. Drink choices rangeThey have it here! Plenty of photo op spots and good energy. I was here peak of the #DTMF era so it was magical to see people come together with a speaker and a cowbell. A local put into perspective how this was way better than paying for an expensive hotel party. It was truly a 1 of 1 experience. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. It doesn't get any better. There's a reason why this space is dropped in lyrics and people's recommendations because this is the heart of the people. So don't be shy! Grab a drink, walk around, catch a dance, and be safe! TIPS: * Don't just settle for one spot. Be sure to explore around to experience the entire Santurce experience!

Review #1,047 Posted on 4.26.26…read more We came to La Placita on Thursday the 23rd, when in town to celebrate my buddies 50th birthday. I guess this was purposefully done as I've heard it's nuts here on Fridays & Saturdays. When you get dropped off at the main road when you walk down it takes you to all the action in a few hundred feet. This place was still packed, but it was popping, the place to be at night I'd guess. They've got all JJ da of restaurants, bars, & clubs here. Tons of music, & a good time.
