I read some reviews here and while most were good some were bad. I bought a vehicle there recently…read moreand my experience was nothing but excellent. I've never purchased a used vehicle so I was skeptical as the stigma of a used car sales and was stuck on my mind.. Rafael was the guy I worked with and he went above and beyond my expectations and made my experi nice somenjoyable that I'm posting a review here. Here are a couple of things that made my experience excellent. 1- Durng my test drive I swung by my mechanics garage for him to look it over. Turns out my mechanic was very familiar with Stamas auto sales and said they were a top notch dealership. He said I won't have any issues with them as their vehicles were usually good but their service was very good. Said they stand by their customers. So...this was important to me because I trust my mechanic who's worked on my cars for over 20 years. Also, everything the Stamas mechanic had list as needing be fixed did line up with what my mechanic saw. 2- the night I was supposed to pick up my truck the they were having issues getting the inspection complete. Rafael stayed until 7 with the inspection dude but there just wasn't enough time to drive the truck around for up to an hour to have the system clear the codes. At this point we had already done the paperwork to trade and my registration was transferred to the new truck. But i was to go on vacation that night and really didn't want to take my old rusty truck with my kids in it. James, Rafael and Lee let me use another vehicle on the lot to take the kids down to the beach. A very nice thing to do and the kids loved the temp car because it had an entertainment screen and they got to watch a movie on the way down. 3- After I picked up the truck the next day a strut busted a few days later. Even though it wasn't listed as things to fix they replaced the strut at no cost to me. So I give a thumbs up to the dealership and especially Rafael. He is a stand up honest guy who really made the experience exclellent.

Classic "used car salesman" here. They are the nicest and most friendly people but their service is…read morethe worst ive ever received in my whole life. When i test drove the 2014 Isuzu NPR before buying it I asked them about the brake light coming on on the dashboard, the steering not coming back to center, adding a loading ramp to the back of the truck, putting a new diamond plate on the floor of the box, and waterproofing the back of the box/roll up door; they said they could get all of this done for me plus a safety check and it would all be included in the final price. I bought the truck that same day - June 15th, they told me they would try to have the truck ready for me on June 18th. Then on the 18th they told me it wouldnt be ready till the 22nd. Then on the 22nd they told me it wouldnt be ready till the 24th. Then on the 24th they said they would deliver it to me on the 25th or 26th. Then on the 26th they said it wouldnt be ready till the 28th. Then on the 28th they said it would be ready on the 29th. Then on the 29th they said it would be ready the 30th. When i picked it up July 1st it wouldnt start and they had to put new batteries in it for me. Then during the 1.5 hour drive back home the brakes were super squishy just like the test drive and the brake light on the dashboard would come on every time i used the brake. I also discovered later that day that the ramp they installed didnt work, and the first time i opened the door to the box the weather stripping they installed fell off. The 2nd day after picking the truck up the truck wouldnt start and i had to call roadside service. It ended up being a loose starter wire they did not tighten when replacing the starter a few weeks prior. They kinda fixed the brakes and steering for me afterwards but I still will be bringing it to a different mechanic to get everything fixed good. When I talked to them about the service i received they said sorry they are super busy right now. So watch out, it seems they are so busy they are forgetting a lot of things and offering rushed and terrible work.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE LOW LIFES!!!!!…read more Do not EVER step foot in this dealership, if you do you're going to get railroaded, treated like a schmuck, and given nothing of what you asked for. I called Grieco Honda on a Saturday and said I was trading in my Honda Ridgeline but I was interested in a Toyota Tundra that their sister dealership had in East Providence. I was told on the phone that it was no issue and that the truck would be transferred over to the dealer and I could come down Sunday morning (I live TWO HOURS AWAY). I drove down Sunday and the truck was no where to be seen. I had a 12:30 appointment and at 1:00pm, the sales manager Mark came over and said "oh we're super busy but someone is coming" and then assigned me to Alfred, who was with another customer. They finally saw me at 1:30pm, an hour late. I asked THREE TIMES to see the truck since "we have to go to Providence but the test drive can be the ride over here." They spent 45 minutes talking trade in and price even with me saying I would discuss it after I get to actually see the truck!!! Alfred finally said okay to going to Providence and then took another 20 minutes to get a car so we could drive over. We finally got to Providence 45 minutes later only to watch someone driving the truck out of the lot and buying it. I never even got to test drive it! Got back to the dealer and gave Mark an earful because I had never been treated so poorly. He said how sorry he was and that he would call me Monday to find me the same truck. He called me and said they would search the country to find it because it was sold out from under me. I found the exact truck at the same price in Oregon and Mark had me send it to him. He said they would call them right then. That truck sold over the weekend so I called to ask if Grieco had reached out AND THEY NEVER CALLED FOR THAT TRUCK!!! Mark and Alfred are TERRIBLE. They and Grieco Honda are the reason people hate car dealerships. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!!!! And I know the blanket "oh call our GM and he wants to hear from you" is coming, don't bother. I called the GM and he never called back. GRIECO HONDA IS THE WORST!!!
