I called about 12 places before getting ahold of this company who was available for same day electric emergencies. Only problem was we were 45 minutes away but for a service fee he assured they'd come out and help with an estimate on how to remove this old dangerous wiring. Help is an understatement! Joe and his new trainee Dan showed up 30 minutes early and gave us all our options. Joe is a straight up guy who genuinely gave us his expert advice and that was to honestly leave it as is. We really appreciated that because he could've done what my mom originally wanted(remove all the wiring) , charged us an arm and a leg, but he stressed how that option was not the safest and how it could be expensive and would majorly effect other rooms and basically gut and re wire the house. After multiple breaker tests, they realized the fridge was pulling power from these old wires and expressed the dangers of this. They offered to move the fridge to a different outlet- talk about above and beyond service. Only then a leak broke out from the fridge being disconnected from a water source. It lead to a pipe bursting lol talk about drama but long story short, they stayed the entire time to ensure things were fixed properly and even put up a new light fixture in the meantime. Thank you thank you thank you Joe and Dan. You guys are the real deal and it's hard to come by people let alone men honest like this nowadays. My mom will be hiring them again for her HVAC next and definitely will have you over for thanksgiving dinner hahaha thank youuuuuu!

I called AHES yesterday morning and spoke with the owner about my gas furnace that died Sunday morning. He and his crew came over in the morning and diagnosed the situation. Turns out my 30 year old furnace burnt out at the circuit board. We discussed pricing on a new furnace and within a few hours, AHES returned to installed a brand new gas furnace. Reasonably prices, professional workmanship and excellent customer service. What I did notice about their synergy was that they were all having fun doing their job! Joe explained everything and answered all my questions. I am hiring his crew to return for additional work that I need on my home: electrical outlet upgrades, new generator, and next spring, I'm having AHE install an a/c system in the furnace. I have worked with a number of other HVAC companies in the Conneaut area and as far as I am concerned, I can tell you that AHE is the most honest, most reliable and most professional HVAC/Electrical company in the Ashtabula area. We had our whole HVAC system replaced this past summer and we hadn't had air-conditioning for five years so this was a long time coming. Greg and Jackson did a fabulous job. They were neat, filled us in on everything about our new system, and made sure that moving forward if we had any questions to just contact the office. I cannot say this enough, bit is so nice to work with a local company that is customer focused. Greg is phenomenal at what he does and I would never consider going with anyone else.

Have had them service my home but more recently i called to help my widowed neighbor. She had another larger local company -had no heat in the home (she is 80 years old). They told her repairs would take a week estimate over a $1,000.00 plus the initial cost of $180.00 and it was bitterly cold. Thats when I called Kris at FM. Gregg came out same afternoon (end of day Friday) fully assessed the issue, fixed it and didn't leave till she was warm and safe. He even took the time to explain all work being done and encouraged her to watch him work. Needless to say she didn't need the service/part the other technician proposed. I can't say enough about their integrity and honesty. Not easy to find these days. If I could I would leave them more than the allowed 5 stars!

    Sal was extremely professional in sending out their repair person. However, the person who came…read morewas very unfriendly. When I asked him to wear a mask, he refused. When I asked him to check if there was a leak of gas from my furnace, he said everything is in good working condition and there are multiple safety measures to prevent any leak. But when I asked how to be sure there is no leak, he said that is a second step to measure with a meter and it will cost another $89. In any event, I didn't find him to be friendly and helpful to rule out my initial complaint. I did not opt for the second step. No second step for diagnosis was informed by Sal earlier. That said, I guess I must give the business a 5-star rating based on the professional scheduling and followup of the appointment. "One swallow doesn't make a summer' or "one bad day" is not a true reflection of the company. I am changing my rating at Sal's text request personally. It's only changed because I can understand Sal's concern as a businessman. He offered me free service in return but I declined it again. He got me wrong completely. My changed rating is only for the professionalism shown by the reception desk and their follow-up. It is not for the changed picture Ron gave that I asked if Ron wanted me to wear a mask. Who would ask that in one's own house? I was wearing my mask thoughout the encounter. As a 65+ year-old, I must be cautious. I don't need a service person's permission to wear a mask inside my house. Unbelievable. But I thought I must clarify to Sal's reply. Thanks Sal for your prompt response. But, isn't that a courteous way to ask ? - "You might want to wear a mask". He saw I was wearing one and he was entering my residence. Yes, I could have insisted but I think that is rude. Secondly, my complaint was "gas leak" and hence, the request to send someone from your company. I am not disputing any diagnosis. I just placed it before you, so it doesn't happen again.. I don't want any money back either. Service was rendered and I accept your company's policy. However, I thank the reception desk for immediately scheduling the appointment the same day. It was highly professional, including the update they followed up with. I commend you for that. Anyways, thanks for your immediate response. Much appreciated

Sals heating has been working on our boiler system since 10/20/25. From 10/20/2025 till 1/2026 Sals has charged us 6,102.00 On 2/10/2026 we were presented with two more estimates: 1) 3,627.00 for further repairs . 2) 18,180.00 total replacement of Boiler It is my fear that they feel an additional 3,627.00 will not fix the boiler in entirety so they included an estimate of full replacement of system. 2) Replacement of boiler system in its entirety: 18,180.00 We have moved on and will not be using Sals service for any additional repairs/work This matter will appear on your website reviews and am submitting to the BBB
