After our first consultation in Aug 2024, I was told it would be 2-3 months before the part was available. I repeatedly called/emailed in December 2024 for an update. Finally was contacted to be told it would be available 1/7/2025. Called again, called 3 times starting 2/10, finally reaching someone today 2/19 and was told they were at the manufacturers and would call me back asap. No return phone call. They were recommended by my realtor who "was" sending them business. Not a good way to conduct customer service. read more

EDIT: Justin saw this and immediately responded. Was a 'perfect storm' that allowed things to fall between the cracks and miss voicemails. He's taking immediate steps to make it right which is what you want from a business. Initial response was great. Justin came to our house (on a Monday), diagnosed the problem and said he needed to order a part that should be in on Thursday. He has since ghosted us like a bad first date. I called a few days after the part was supposed to arrive asking about a status - no return phone call. Left another message a week and a half after he came to the house - no return phone call. Called again 2 weeks after his service call, asked for the courtesy of a return phone call because he had left us hanging - you guessed it, crickets... His voicemail greeting says calls are returned within a hour Guess business is so good he's not in need of new customers. read more

Unfortunately, we had 2 instances where they arrived for the initial service call and never returned. The first time we called to fix our tenants leaking refrigerator, they were supposed to order the part and return to resolve the issue and they must have forgotten. We had to call another company because they would not return our phone calls. This is the current situation our same tenants have an oven which the temperature does not rise to the correct temperature. I called them back the week of Thanksgiving. They went out the first week of December and said the temperature probe needs to be changed and ordering it will take 2 weeks, so before Christmas, it will be resolved. 3 days after Christmas, no update whatsoever, I called to find out what is going on and they must have forgotten, AGAIN, since he said he was going to overnight the part. He went to change the part on the 31st. On the 1st the oven temperature still does not rise. It seems as if it was misdiagnosed. I called again on the 2nd and he said it would be on the route again. On the 6th, he has yet to go out and check my tenant's oven and does not return my calls. Terrible service. I Will not attempt this company again. read more

During the phone consultation he took me through the symptoms and ended up deciding to have me try replacing a circuit board. Here's where Justin earned my business forever - he knew that I could replace the circuit board myself, so he helped me find the correct part and order it. He didn't come over and charge me a needless service call fee, just talked me through how to do it myself. When that circuit board replacement didn't work he came by the house and troubleshot the fridge. He determined that the other circuit board could be replaced and would most likely fix the problem, again with no service call charge and outstanding professionalism, helping me order the correct part and instructing me on how to do the repair. The second time was the charm, fridge repaired. Again, Justin wanted to NOT charge me a service call and was just happy to help me get the problem fixed. In this day and age you just don't find people with the ethical approach that Justin has. Justin/Patriot Mechanical is a small, family-owned businessman, with a ton of integrity and professional expertise. I would rather support the small businessman than the larger corporation, and Patriot Mechanical is just that. How he conducts his business determines if he can feed his family or not. I am experiencing a very similar situation to "D 1.". A Patriot Mechanical Technician came out shortly after we asked them to look at the broken ice maker. He ordered an ice maker and said it was coming from out of state and would take 5-7 business days to come in. I tried to call Patriot 9 business days later for a status update, left voicemail, no response. I then followed the voicemail's instructions and sent an email asking for an update, no response. After a week or so of calling and getting the voicemail, I finally got a call from Justin (I think). He said he had to call the distributor and would call me right back...I never got a call back from him. That was about two weeks ago. I understand they are busy and parts take time to come in, but a little status update call would go a very long way! read more

I purchased a new home that was 10 years old. After 4 weeks my GE Refrigerator stopped working correctly. My chicken was no longer frozen and the my milk and all other food was no longer cold. I called Patriot Mechanical and Quentin was sent out the next day. He was very knowledgeable and sized up the problem on the spot. The parts were quickly ordered over the phone while he was still at my house. I was really worried that I would be without a freezer and a refrigerator for a long time. However, I received a call the next day, Saturday, from the owner assuring me that the 2 parts should be in by Monday and he would make sure the appliance would be up and running personally. Wow...not many companies make this kind of effort with a fix from Friday to Monday. Sure to his word - Justin arrived on Monday and fixed the problem. We called Patriot Mechanical because our downdraft wasn't working. Justin (the owner) sent over one of his guys to take a look at our unit, when he came over he said that there was no way he could fix it and that we needed to replace it. Justin called my husband that night and told him he didn't agree with his employees findings and would like to come and take a look himself. Justin came out and looked at our downdraft and determined that he could fix it and ordered the part onsite. Justin came back when the part was in with one of his son's and tried to fix the unit, without taking the stove top off of the granite he couldn't get it to work correctly. Come to find out our builder glued the stove top to the granite. Determined to get this fixed Justin asked if he could please come back again and this time have a 3rd person with him to help un-glue the stove top and pick it up. Justin came back with his two son's and was able to fix the unit. I can not thank Justin enough for his determination and dedication to his job. He is very professional and will do what he can to get the job done. His boys were very pleasant and respectful as well. If you have a need for a repair on your stove, microwave, washer, dryer etc., do not hesitate to call Patriot Mechanical, I hope to never have to call them again but if I do need something I know exactly who I will call. We had been previously assigned a different repair company who called us and said that they were too busy to even schedule an appointment and that they would call us back.
