I have taken pistol, rifle, and shotgun classes with these guys from beginner classes to defensive classes. I have also taken multiple low-light classes. There are at least 3 guys with the class but most of the time it has been 5 guys with a class. The biggest size class I have been in was 12 students and Angel brought in additional help that day so the instructors could monitor everyone closely. The experience and knowledge of BSTG is long and deep. They each have experience in bad situations and they bring a mindset to the range of making sure their students understand that if you can get away then get away. However, if you have no choice but to defend yourself or your family, these are the tools to do so effectively and safely.

I'm not one of the "boys" and it shows I haven't been here in years, but it's a bummer that they don't offer ladies shoot free on Tuesday any longer. We didn't realize we had to grab a number to be waited on because it's been so long. Walked around the store and stood by the counter for a good 15 minutes before we asked someone how to purchase a gun. Told us what we needed to do but didn't seem like it was worth the wait. There is plenty of parking and the class is held in a room that is very well-lit, comfortable, clean, with lots of visuals and information posted and... coffee and snacks! I had no expectations because I had absolutely no idea what to expect and didn't know anything about guns or ammo. I can honestly say that after this class, I feel very comfortable and am much more knowledgeable. Lisa and Matt are passionate about what they do and are very well-versed on all topics related to shooting, with safety above all else. The indoor shorting range we went to after i took the written test, is about an 8 minute drive. I was filled with nervous excitement, but once we started shooting, I only felt excitement because I felt really prepared! I walked through every step each time. Lisa and Matt offered lots of great advice based on their experience, and I'm grateful to have found them and this class.
