They installed an over 10,000 dollar hardie board skirting on my single wide to reduce pests at their suggestion hardi board with cement footers The first problem, they did not provide enough vents and it was a real chore to get them to correct that to the workmanship standards that are in our area. They said they would fix the large vertical gap in the siding which lets rodents in but they never did. I showed them the picture of it. When the home was releveled, the concrete footings in the soil were not adequate and it totally lifted in the air so now I have no footing which totally lets rodents in. When I look at the proposal there is no mention of any warantee so BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! They were rude to me also for bring these things to their attention, sticking me with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

They were a referral. I have to say that the "bugs" that needed to be eliminated were but then so were all the "cool" bugs; praying mantis, walking sticks, tarantulas. Now I have none of these but all the bugs I don't want! They were very difficult to work with when setting up an appointment, it only was available when they were in the area so they could never come and spray when I was available. Then I got a tongue lashing from one of the gals in the office and basically told me they would not come and take care of my pests because I was never available when they wanted me to be available. Whatever happened to customer service?? Their technician they sent out when I was available on their time frame was great! He took the time to do a good spray, took care of the spider webs and noted other issues that I have not noticed. Hope Patroit keeps him around because he is very pleasant to work with! I paid $125 to have a service person come to our home to deal with a wasp problem. I was assured that their employee had years of experience. He appeared knowledgable but was NOT helpful. "I cannot treat a wasp nest I cannot see," he said. We have at least 3 nests he could not treat because he could not "see" them. He left us one wasp trap that has NOT caught one wasp in 5 days. Even Google confirmed the trap he left did not work. They fly all over our yard. I wish I had been priorly informed that they cannot treat a nest they cannot see. Their employee was here for 20 minutes and I wasted $125. read more

I sent a request to them stating "I just found a dead bat on the second floor and wondering if your company is able to determine where the entry/exit point is on the house so it can be sealed." The reply stated "Yes, we can do that for you." They would charge $100. The rep came out and looked at the area under the eaves where I thought the issue could be. He pointed a flashlight from inside and outside from a distance of 15-20' and determined that there was "no visible signs of an entry". The inspection took 15 minutes. Even though the "entry/exit" point wasn't found, they would not adjust the bill or honor the commitment to determine where the bat got into the house. I'll have to try another company. read more

I own a little rental house in Prescott. Tenants said they were hearing something in the walls. I figured it was nice or rats and I started calling around. The first company said they'd go out for a free inspection and send me a bid. I told them I didn't want a damned bid, I wanted to know what was in there and what it would cost to get rid of them. This isn't rocket science. I want bids for construction not little jobs. I also know that when people write up contracts for little things, I'm going to be paying more than the job warrants. Fool me once... Got the stupid bid. A ridiculous amount. Called patriot and Steve went out that day and did the same job for a third the amount. He's the guy you want. I had a very bad experience with this company! Tech came out and gave me an estimate for rodent exclusion and removal that was lower than the other 2 companies I had estimates from. I gave Patriot the go ahead to do the job, they sent me a written agreement and scheduled the work. Prior to the work being done I asked the tech to explain his approach to rodent trapping which was different from the approach of the other 2 companies. He defended his approach and was very convincing so I went ahead and gave him the go ahead to continue. The next day (which was 1 day before the scheduled work) the manager called me and said they were canceling the agreement. He stated he had a "gut" feeling this was NOT a good fit for his company (really? that's what they do). I think the tech under quoted the job but he would not tell me that directly even though he did say they don't usually do this type of work for less than $600-700 which was lower than my quoted price. Beware when calling this company that you are getting a valid quote and get something in writing with a signature. read more
