MinuteClinic made it easy for my flu shot, travel vaccines, and TB test (healthcare provider). I seem to always end up with Michele as my practitioner: she's great! What I like: Ease of scheduling, documentation, hours of operation. What could improve: Wait times are an inexact science. I'm either seen right away, or 30 minutes after my appointment. Certainly not complaining. My solution? Bring a book :) Bottom line: Insurance covers a majority of it, I don't get the feeling I'm cutting corners or "cheaping out", and staff genuinely care. I walked into this establishment and was met by a lovely bubbly receptionist that helped me prepare for my first time visit. I stepped on a nail and it was embedded in my foot. After I signed all the paperwork I was greeted by a very charming and pleasant Assistant who took my blood pressure and weight. Soon following the Doctor entered and explained (in layman's terms) exactly what he was going to do for my injury. He really made me feel comfortable. Im always anxious when I visit medical facilities. He removed the nail quick and swiftly. I am a self pay patient (no insurance) and the cost was reasonable. The parking lot is pretty spacious with plenty of open spaces. It was a little busy when I came but I can't hold that against them. The check in process was easy. Just signed in at a tablet by the front window. Then I waited a few minutes to be called back for registration. After a few forms I waited a little while in the lobby then went back to get my vitals taken. Another short wait and then I was taken to an exam room. A friendly doctor came in and examined my burn. Thankfully no infection and it appeared to be healing well. She did prescribe me an antibiotic to ensure I didn't get an infection. Then I was discharged. I was able to get my prescription filled right there on site so it was convenient I didn't have to make any additional stops afterwards. Total visit was about an hour. Would definitely come here again but hopefully I won't need to any time soon.

The AllCare representative I spoke to also spewed some nonsense about them being an "immediate care." Apparently, "immediate care" is different from "urgent care" when it comes to medical coding.
