I had an appointment scheduled for 10:00 am and arrived early at 9:50 am to check in. I had already filled out all my paperwork electronically. They checked me in and took me back to a room around 10:05am. Pretty sure this is because they are being tracked on this metric. Despite this, I am still sitting in a patient room waiting at 10:55 am, waiting to be seen with only one person ahead of me when I arrived. This level of disorganization and disregard for patients' time is unacceptable. Unless you have hours of your time to burn, I would not recommend this urgent care to anyone. read more

Although I have visited Ouch! as a patient for several years, I have recommended it to friends and co-workers. Today's visit is my last. The front desk individual - I assume a MA because he documented my vitals - was wonderfully professional in every way. My provider, before even seeing me, walked in the exam room with an x-ray order for a very specific radiology center - not one covered by my insurance. She did not offer ideas for dealing with the pain until we could figure out what is going on - ice, heat, elevation, anything?? Nothing. She handed me the paperwork and left. When the MA noticed my unusually elevated blood pressure he said that the provider will check it again. Nope. Did not happen. I found the provider to be curt and disinterested. And despite getting my name wrong on the order, and her three attempts - WITH my driving license in front of her for reference, she still mispelled my name on the order. This used to be the best urgent care by far. It was fast, efficient, and Shamane the PA was awesome. The new provider that took over is the opposite. Was over 3 hours and she wouldn't send anything to the pharmacy to help for my ear infection. The receptionist was incredibly rude on the phone as well so just beware. I called about getting a chest X-ray for broken ribs. II spoke with a wonderful woman named Kaia. They don't do chest X-rays at the location near me and she said they could refer me out. But I've called so many radiology places and no one takes my Medicare Advantage Plan HMO. She took the time to find an Urgent Care for me that does chest Xrays and takes my HMO. She was so kind. I wish I could go here, but I know they are broken. It's been 2 weeks since I tripped over my dog's leash onto my chest on concrete and it's getting more painful. Thank you Kaia! read more

This was my second visit to this clinic. This time it was for a Covid test. I LOVE their technology! I called up and made a walk in registration. I was then placed in a queue on their app to wait outside. The app let me see in real time my place in line as I relaxed in my car. I had time to get lunch and return before my number was called. When my number did come up they came out to my car provided quick forms For me to fill out and administered the test in less than 5 minutes. It wasnt as painful as I thought it would be! Rude and worthless. My wife had an appointment for a pre-op exam that was to include an EKG, which she'd indicated when she made the appointment. She sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes watching the staff talk amongst themselves. There were no other patients in the waiting room. They finally took her back to the exam room and told her the EKG machine was broken, and that they didn't take insurance. They took her blood pressure, listened to her heart and lungs, charged her $125 and that was it. Ten-minute exam. Unfortunately because of the surgery schedule she had to have the exam. Never again. I am so furious I made an appointment for today and ended up waiting an hour after my scheduled time Then while the doctor and I were finally consulting, an employee asked her to come with her and it's been 20 mins since she has been gone. I went because I had a sore throat that was on its 5th day. I already got tested for Covid and it came back negative. I wanted to rule out Strep throat. They had me wait in my car and strep cultures were taken in the parking lot. Someone came out to swab my throat. The physician's assistant on duty did not even examine me. I don't know what the training or the credentials was for the person who swabbed me. She said she would tell the PA what my throat looked like. I paid to see a medical professional and this extent of cost cutting is not acceptable. They told me my strep test came back negative. Two hours later, PA called me to discuss the results and I questioned what else could be causing my sore throat and should I be concerned that I did not have any cold symptoms. She said nothing to be concerned about. Two days later, my gums were killing me. The pain was on the same side of my mouth as the sore throat, the left side. I am now suspecting that the infection has spread to my gums. Now I had to make an appointment with the dentist, and my sore throat is on its second week. This infection could go septic, spread to my brain and other serious conditions. I went to this urgent care and the physician's assistant never examined me! read more

This place was great! I got a very quick appointment online. The staff was wonderful during check in and check out. The Nurse Practitioner was very nice, really listened to my concerns, and quickly figured out what was wrong. Everyone seemed genuinely concerned about my health. I was in this area and had been having a pain for about 2 weeks. I decided to stop in to see what the wait was and there wasn't any. The check in process was easy. The guy at the front desk and the PA were very friendly. The nurse was friendly however I could tell she was over it for the day. Turned out I had a pretty common injury. I scheduled an appointment online which was quite professional and easy to use. I was seen right away after fill out the necessary paperwork. I told them they had flulike symptoms. The physician assistant saw me in the back room, took my temperature, check my ears, and visually looked at my throat. The physician assistant told me that it looks like a upper respiratory infection. I was told to take Mucinex, and gargle with salt water. There was no throat culture taken. Four days later, after no relief in my symptoms I decided to go to my primary physician. A throat culture show that I have strep throat. They prescribed an antibiotic. read more

We were there for a fall and a possible broken wrist. So we called the Covid check in number. They basically said, "What do you want?" Then said the X-ray machine was out. I asked if we could have the wrist checked. Nope. They sent us away. Will not return. read more

Pretty unimpressed with this facility. I scheduled a 12pm appointment, and didn't get taken back to a room until 1:15pm. Stayed in the room for another 15 minutes (1:30 pm) before someone came to take vitals. I'm not sure what the point of scheduling an appointment is if you don't get seen within a reasonable (30 minute) amount of time. The nurse that came in did apologize for the wait, but this was not communicated until we were seen an hour and a half past our scheduled appointment time. Only giving this a 3 because the nurse was nice. I should also note that I checked in at 12:07 for a noon appointment, so I would have understood a little longer wait. But not an hour and a half. Also, not the cleanest. There was a lot of dust underneath the exam table. read more

This place doesn't deserve 1 star. I made my appt online for 11am today. Per instructions, you check in online upon arrival and wait in your car. Well I waited and kept checking the status of my wait time which said no one was ahead of me. I call the front desk and I'm asked why I'm calling. I'm calling because I've been waiting in my car and I see your waiting room is empty. She tells me to come to the door and wait. I wait at the door and end up knocking a few times for her to open the door. She asks why I want to be seen by the doctor. I explain I've had 1 PCR Covid test and 2 at home Covid tests all negative and I have a sinus infection. She asks to take my phone because I'm holding it showing her my test results. She leaves me in the hall and takes my phone. Returns to tell me since I had my Covid test over 72 hours ago I can't be seen by a doctor. She recommends I go out to my car and pull into a Covid test spot and wait for a test but the results take up to 72 hours so I won't be seen today. If they are so worried about me having Covid why did she take my phone from my hand and return it uncleaned??? I asked her why that is not stated on the website, she points to the door showing me a sign. I said I see the sign now but why isn't that information on the website when making an appointment. I explain their appointments are booked for days so I won't ever get an appointment within 72 hours of my new test results so what is the point in taking the test. Her response, "well go to Patient First". Avoid this place. They are rude, unprofessional, and clueless. read more

Urgent cares, by definition, are supposed to be the place you go to be seen immediately instead of going to the ER. Well, not this place. They require a negative PCR test to be seen. So, better plan ahead a few days if you need urgent care. How ironic is that. What a joke. Why are they even in the healthcare business if they are turning people away who need healthcare. Unfortunately my family has had to have multiple Covid tests. The staff here is a well oiled machine. They have adapted to the growing need for testing, they are always pleasant like it's their first day. I know they MUST be burnt out, but they never show it! They were so patient with my 8 year old who was scared. I've not been here for anything else, but will definitely consider based on my multiple experiences. Had a rash that was bothering me (turned out to be poison ivy) and on a Friday afternoon you don't have many options! Came into Ouch in the hopes they could give me something to help with the itching. Facility is super clean and modern. Coffee, tea, and cold water bottles. All staff was friendly and professional. This is the worst place to try to get care. They apparently do not care about their patients health or the time spent getting and waiting to see their doctor I had made appointment for 12:30 today for a sinus infection. They wanted a Covid test which I informed her I had both the Rapid and Antigen 2 days prior which were negative. I was also able to pull up the test results online and able to print the rapid which I gave to her however I had to send the other test results through email which I did twice. She came back to tell me that they could not receive it for some reason and therefore we're not gonna be able to see me that I should go to another walk-in clinic. I think this place is only wanting to do covid testing for the money. I am going to report them to Medicare. If you're looking for some good healthcare do not go here. read more

This is a new urgent care center that I drive by daily that opened in April or May 2016 located at the traffic circle on Rt. 103 at Rt.100. Unfortunately we had a need to visit the place today. First you can use their web site to request an appointment and fill in the forms, the site provides immediate confirmation of the appointment, I found this very useful in determining how long it would take to be seen. Second, the staff were great. The front desk nurse was very polite and professional, the Physicians Assistant was also excellent and asked the right questions, looked at the problem, and provided solutions, in our case the recommendation was to get to an emergency room asap. To my surprise, the nurse said that she would refund the copay fee immediately, which she did pleasantly. As it turned out, the emergency room physician diagnosed the same problem and did the same tests the Physicians Assistant at Ouch recommended. I would highly recommend Ouch Urgent Care for those medical situations (as they describe on their web site) that don't require an emergency room visit. read more

The PA that I saw was attentive and friendly. Had my prescriptions sent directly to my pharmacy and was out of the door in a timely fashion. Scheduled an appointment for an ear infection for my 16 year old daughter using the online application. Answered the covid questions that were asked. Showed up 5 minutes early for her appointment and was then told she couldn't be seen by the PA because she had to have a rapid test first which would've $150 out of pocket. There was no mention of this during the appointment scheduling process. My daughter also had a test 6 days ago that was negative which was shared with the OUCH staff. Needed to be seen ASAP for a sore ear lobe and found Ouch online! I was able to get a ZipPass to schedule an appointment for that afternoon. I walked in, had my check-in papers ready and proceeded to pay my co-pay. I was seen within 5 minutes and out within 15, with discharge papers and prescription in hand! Whaaaaaaatttt?! The facility is clean, I don't even think I saw any dust! And, the folks were nice, friendly and very welcoming...made me feel super comfy although I was in pain.
