Sorry - we tried this place a few months ago - The pizza is just awful - I'm sorry but it's true. And also I ordered a very detailed order and repeated it twice - with a dairy allergy- the food was all wrong and I even called back and she said she was sorry - I could come back - no - I'm not driving back and wasted fuel. Not my favorite place to go but sadly in Dover there are not many options. I've been here several times and the service is always slow! Last time we went it took the server almost 30-40 minutes to come and take our food order after getting us our drinks. And then it took over an hour to get our food. I've gone here on the weekend and during the week and the service is always the same. The food I find is a hit or miss. Sometimes is is good and sometimes it is bad. I honestly think it depends on what you order. This time we got mozzarella sticks, wings and a small pizza. The mozzarella sticks were good (I'd be upset if they were bad), the wings were actually really good. We got them with a dry rub and with a dipping sauce! Probably the best thing I've eaten from there. The pizza I got was an all meat and was VERY greasy, and the crust is pretty thin. We got several drinks and they seemed to be about normal. I got an Angry Orchard with a sugar rim and it was good. I'm giving 3 stars cause again, the service is always bad, but the food is a hit or miss! I've been to other Pat's Pizzas around the state and this is by far the worst. read more

The service at this pats is AWEFUL and the food is hit or miss. We came on a Friday night and the service was good and the food was great.. our experience was so good we decided to come back on Saturday night since we were staying close. Big mistake. The service was SO BAD. We sat for 20 minutes before we were even asked what we wanted to drink. We sat for another hour before we were offered refills and it took over and hour to get our food which was not good. Overall I would not come back to this place. There is a bar attached to the pizza place which the servers favor. If you want your food fast you should go there instead. read more

I was in the neighbored and decided to give Pats Pizza in Dover a try and was glad i did. I ordered a Large Pepperoni to go and was very happy there are a nice amount of the small pepperoni that where nicely curled into that crispy cup with not to much grease. This was a huge disappointment. We were expecting company to arrive later but wanted to have something on hand in case they were hungry after traveling. The staff was friendly and we left planning to come back; only to get home and find that the 3 pizzas ordered were dry with sauce and cheese at a minimum and actually missing from large parts of the pizza. We were coming into town late Sunday around 7:45 and loved they were open late! We called and order a pizza to go and it was ready within 10 minutes which was very fast to me. This was the best thin crust pizza I've ever had! My husband and I were shocked at how homemade it tasted! Will definitely get it again when we are back in town! read more

The service is EXTREMELY slow. when our food arrived it was cold. We arrived around 12:15, placed our order around 12:25 (a BLT and a steak sub - not complicated). We did not get our food till after 1:00... and the steak sub was cold. Another table had to send their food back to be warmed up, too. This is not a byproduct of pandemic staffing shortages. Not sure if this is the correct business as it seems that the newly opened Pat's Pizza is on Main Street. We visited today, two days after their opening. The decor is very nicely done... could smell the newly varnished wainscoting... Loved the original tin ceilings. We entered through the bar which was comfortable and welcoming, and ate in the dining room. We all ordered pizza and enjoyed it very much. The ingredients were fresh and the crust was crisp at the edges and very tender and puffy from the fresh dough. One of our party ordered the BLT pizza with fresh tomatoes; very delicious, fresh lettuce and all! Hoping that Pat's will be a huge success in Dover-Foxcroft - it is definitely worth a visit. I will look forward to returning when I am back in Maine this summer. read more

I was excited to hear Pat's would be serving breakfast since there aren't many breakfast joints to choose from in the Dover area. So I went yesterday and ordered Eggs Benedict. The waitress said the ala carte version didn't come with home fries, which was fine by me. But when my meal was served, it had the home fries. It looked good, but the food was almost cold and the hollandaise was thin and flavorless. I was shocked when the bill came: $13.77, and that's without coffee! The other weird thing was the tiny oval dish the eggs benny was served in. In order to eat my meal, I had to dump the dish onto the plate with the home fries. Otherwise it would have been a sloppy mess. Definitely not a good first impression. read more

will not go back.We have been going for a couple years.The service last night was a disgrace not many people in there but could you get someone to serve you hell no.they stand around the bar and tap there fingers.I ordered a loaded wrap with mayo and told her 2 x and she brought sub with out mayo and brought it back.never asked us to refill our beer or take out dishes nothing we where waiting for check for a hr or so.Then ordered another picture of beer and we left.We will not be back! The food service at pats pizza is amazing. I go there all the time, there food is always good. The bartender that's always there is one of my favorites! She's always happy and even with all the corona stuff going on she still is very cheerful and positive! Overall the bar is very pleasing to go to. Ordered takeout from Pats a little while back. I was less than impressed. Dover Foxcroft does not have the best pizza by a long shot, and Pats was just about par for the course. I ordered a large pepperoni pie and the sauce had a bit of a sour taste, like it came straight out of a can. The crust was thin, which I usually like, but was burnt in some spots. The pepperoni itself left a lot to be desired, as they were very small in size and a bit too thick. There was definitely not enough of it on the pie. I would give Pats another shot, as it is a beloved central Maine chain; but my first and only experience left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

Big fan of this historic "chain" coming into Dover-Foxcroft. Probably the friendliest staff you will ever meet. The bartenders are all a great crew of characters. NOTHING IS FRIED! The pizza is quite possibly the best you'll ever taste, with a plethora of combinations. Great beer selection and reasonably priced menu. Great for a nice gathering of friends and family or even just to go out and have a drink and a bite to eat on the weekends. read more

Ordered a variety of items, none were great! Raw pepperoni flavor took over the stromboli sandwich, the hot wings were dry and w/very spicy outer coating, but the blue cheese dressing was a cheap brand which spoiled the taste of the wings. Onion rings were a frozen variety, & the cheese quesadilla was cold served again with a not so good salsa side. The waitress seemed uninspired and distant. Went in to bring my son for a bite for their $5 pizza buffet. Wouldn't have been bad had they actually HAD pizza to eat. Must've been about 12 people or so there, 2 slices left so we took them.
