The kennels looks after all dog breeds - I don't think there is a cattery at all - and there is a really positive vibe about the place. The office is a bit chaotic but clearly they'd rather be with the dogs than doing filing - that's fine with me. John couriered our dogs from Heathrow to the kennels when we arrived in the UK, and did everything he could to ensure the dogs were happy. We couldn't ask for a better place to keep our dogs!

The opening times are printed on the side wall but the owners are very helpful if they do not suit. When I arrived nobody was around , so I wandered up the kennels , it was extremely clean and the animals were excited and appeared happy. I was greeted with a smile and it wasn't a problem I had looked around. The dogs have access to a long grass run twice a day , are encouraged to bring bedding and toys and they have a large supply of dog food so you don't have to bring your own. The owners and staff have always genuinely appeared to love the animals and I am happy to return .

I rang BB and explained that my dog was a rescue and gets easily spooked and stressed out. He is so nervous around new people and being a jack he has the added bonus of not being able to keep still and bounces his way through life. Bb were not phased in the slightest. It was great the lady booked us in and said that we would take it at the dogs pace. BB have been fantastic, they always go above and beyond. If my dog is having a cranky day they take it at his pace and never rush him. Bear has such a great bond with BB now and gets so excited when they knock on the door. He even enjoys his bath now. Bear always looks and smells great even if he is being kranky. Being disabled it's a service I couldn't be without. BB are always on time & cheerful. They have been great if I have needed advise. A staff member immediately told me I had "less than a minute" before closing -- fair enough, I just needed to quickly grab some dog food. When I said I'd be less than a minute, as she'd mentioned, she checked her phone, smirked, and said, "Minute's up -- shop's closed, you need to leave." Not the kind of customer service you'd expect.

I feed raw food to the dog and all 5 cats, and they have a great selection here of this. Naturally I did do a bit of a comparison and it turned out to be spot on on price. If you do your homework on bulk and regular items, I think it's about right. Treats and stuff are there or there abouts, but a tad on the high price, mad all the other paraphernalia like cat boxes and toys etc are expensive, so be aware! (Which is why the loss of a star) However, trade all this off against the fantastic choice, and the fact that there is an independent Vetenary practice, and it's a great place. Lastly, the staff are helpful and well informed and always happy to chat with you and give you advice should you need it!

The kennels are more like mini sitting rooms with their own TV and radio. The facilities are excellent. Although they were naturally pleased to see me on my return it was clear that they had been well looked after. The owners are lovely and friendly and you can see how much they love dogs.
