They were quoted 22,000 for a new system. I just happened to call while this was happening and they were in the process of filling out a credit application. I called my brother who lives close by to go and see what was happening. He sent them on their way after paying the 250.00 of course. He called another company ( D & W also in Covington) who simply added freon and it works perfectly. Be warned they will take advantage of older people if given the chance !!! not to mention the service manager and owner will not even return a call.

While he's apologetic it's definitely an act. This guy and this company could care less that they arrived to the initial appointment without a COI (do your research before accepting the job from the home warranty co) he didn't care that they ARRIVED the second time within minutes of a storm so there goes any chance of getting on the roof, lastly he didn't care that AFTER he assured me the technician was coming back today - HE WAS A NO SHOW!!!!!!! Run, please find a more professional, company with integrity.

So looked up local companies in the Monroe area and found E and K HVAC and gave them a call. They had availability for the next day so I booked the appointment. I called Lee to ask if they could possibly source a part if I had the S/N and give me an estimate of delivery - a general time frame. They said, "They don't operate off another company's diagnosis". This is the dumbest policy I have ever heard of. All she had to do was tell me if they had the part or could get it. If the answer to those was yes, I would schedule a call for them to do their diagnosis which apparently, according to them, is rocket-science. They lost out on a customer. If they read this, don't send me anymore flyers. You had your shot. You failed!

Unit had been working fine for years no problems this was just upkeep. When I paid the technician he said unit looked good. A couple of days later one of the units was cooling. I called Lees back on a Saturday and they came back out Monday. Now all of the sudden the compressor is bad supposedly. The techs said it was storms in the area during the time the compressor was supposedly damaged it. The tech said he had 40 years of experience. I asked him how much experience does it take to get it right. I listened to all of the reason he tried to justify how there actions were the cause of the system failure. Completely made up. STAY AWAY from this COMPANY they will try to make up anything to tell you if they think you have no experience in HVAC repair and maintenance.

His estimate was half of the other guys. He closed the valves on my AC unit so we wouldn't leak any more refrigerant so he would have to refill as much. The other company quoted 12 pounds and Eric only ended up adding 4 pounds. Eric completed the replacement, and testing if the new evaporator coil, cleaned up after himself all in about 3 hours. Needless to say, Dependable is now our Service Provider. Their annual service includes 2 inspections with cleaning and filter replacement. Highly recommend this family owned business.
