I have a hard leading disability and things are hard to understand. But they all took the time to help me understand and thrive. I recommend this school for anyone who want to do anything with thriving in leading the arts of nails, hair in skin. I have now graduated and thriving in life. I still come to them for hair to be done . I give them 5 stars. Thank you ABC for helping me grow in confidence in myself. And teaching me that it's ok to be different and thrive. To embrace it and enjoy being who I am. I am now going to my next school in the arts of beauty of SFX in makeup. But I couldn't have done it with out them. Thank you.

AV area; read all the way through if considering to study here:…read more0 stars all around- DO NOT RECOMMEND. While my time 'studying' here, in the course of 4 1/2 months; we've had instructors quit half way through the course. Fluctuating rules (depending who you are favoritism is displayed.) No basic training- Their 'training' method is throwing school clients on us WITHOUT overlooking our work in the process. Not to mention, expired nail supplies for example and clippers that didn't work. If we have questions, instead of TEACHING* us physically, they will refer for you to go back to the ebook and read and view online videos- (Even tho your client is a real human being, sitting or laying down, waiting for the service to begin. They will rather allow you to make a mistake on your own, than stand by your side, teaching you step by step the CORRECT way.) I wouldn't doubt all the reviews of clients complaining on yelp and google to be 100% true. The work speaks for itself. The only staff I've seen care about their students work are the barber and nail tech teachers. (Which both left last i heard.) They were adored for the RIGHT reasons. I also should't forget to mention, if you decline to perform the service, you will be sent home for the day. Which eventually can lead to being expelled. (But if you play victim, no matter what age you are, claiming and crying that you're being picked on, it's an exception.) I've witnessed the staff turnover and it's ridiculous, but understandably so, for this school lacks any kind of structure- starting with the Director. When all concerns were brought to the attention of the director, she turns around to tell you how ungratefulyou are- even tho you're the one stuck paying the loans and their pay checks. The biggest red flag is how the staff waits last minute (hours before you should graduate) to let you know what you're missing items are in your profile. I'm emotionally and physically drained- If I knew that they didn't care about our education and if you continue or not- I would of driven to a better, more well known beauty school to get what I paid for (our class NEVER learned about the hydrfacial) - And to be clear; because this is the only school besides Lancaster in the AV area for beauty, the Director has made it clear how she's not sweating how many student they upset- The money is still flowing in.

I had one of the most unprofessional experiences of my life at this school -- specifically due to…read moreNancy Lopez. I scheduled an appointment to get my hair braided. I arranged childcare and missed work for this appointment. When I arrived, the front desk staff (not the person who booked me) realized there had been no communication about needing to wash and blow-dry my hair before braiding. I explained that Nancy had never informed me of this, and thankfully the front desk kindly honored the original quoted price. After my hair was washed and blow-dried by Christina, we were about to start braiding when Nancy stormed in and abruptly demanded that the service stop until I paid extra for the wash and blow dry. She was loud, rude, and dismissive -- even putting her hand in my face when I tried to explain the miscommunication. She told me not to speak because she was "talking to her student, not me." She then touched my hair and began making discriminatory comments about its length and thickness, saying that it would "cost more" but refusing to give me an exact price. Instead of resolving the issue, she escalated it, argued, and ultimately instructed the student to stop the service entirely. When I asked for her supervisor, she claimed she was the boss and the supervisor, blocking any accountability -- until I insisted and was finally able to speak to the actual administrator, who was kind and understanding. This unnecessary conflict wasted 25 minutes of my appointment, leaving the students pressed for time and forcing my service to be cut down to 2 braids instead of the 4 I had booked. I want to be clear: the students and instructors were professional, kind, and compassionate throughout this. The only problem was Nancy Lopez. Her behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and completely unacceptable in an educational or customer-facing environment. I will be reporting her to the board for her conduct. If you book services here, please know the students are talented and respectful, but the administration -- at least under Nancy Lopez -- is another story.

When I have contacted my loan providers and the fafsa, I was informed that I do not have defaulted loans. EDIT: The department of education has confirmed there is no issue. I have received financial aid from another institution. The place here is disorganized, does not call you back, hangs up on you, ignores you and is rude. You're better off going to VVC, Barstow or downhill.
