This school is amazing. I really had a good time and I am still going there for hair to be done. The teachers are very helpful and the staff is so nice and understanding. I have a hard leading disability and things are hard to understand. But they all took the time to help me understand and thrive. I recommend this school for anyone who want to do anything with thriving in leading the arts of nails, hair in skin. I have now graduated and thriving in life. I still come to them for hair to be done . I give them 5 stars. Thank you ABC for helping me grow in confidence in myself. And teaching me that it's ok to be different and thrive. AV area; read all the way through if considering to study here: 0 stars all around- DO NOT RECOMMEND. While my time 'studying' here, in the course of 4 1/2 months; we've had instructors quit half way through the course. Fluctuating rules (depending who you are favoritism is displayed.) No basic training- Their 'training' method is throwing school clients on us WITHOUT overlooking our work in the process. Not to mention, expired nail supplies for example and clippers that didn't work. If we have questions, instead of TEACHING* us physically, they will refer for you to go back to the ebook and read and view online videos- (Even tho your client is a real human being, sitting or laying down, waiting for the service to begin. They will rather allow you to make a mistake on your own, than stand by your side, teaching you step by step the CORRECT way.) I wouldn't doubt all the reviews of clients complaining on yelp and google to be 100% true. The work speaks for itself. The only staff I've seen care about their students work are the barber and nail tech teachers. (Which both left last i heard.) They were adored for the RIGHT reasons. I also should't forget to mention, if you decline to perform the service, you will be sent home for the day. Which eventually can lead to being expelled. (But if you play victim, no matter what age you are, claiming and crying that you're being picked on, it's an exception.) I've witnessed the staff turnover and it's ridiculous, but understandably so, for this school lacks any kind of structure- starting with the Director. When all concerns were brought to the attention of the director, she turns around to tell you how ungratefulyou are- even tho you're the one stuck paying the loans and their pay checks. The biggest red flag is how the staff waits last minute (hours before you should graduate) to let you know what you're missing items are in your profile. I'm emotionally and physically drained- If I knew that they didn't care about our education and if you continue or not- I would of driven to a better, more well known beauty school to get what I paid for (our class NEVER learned about the hydrfacial) - And to be clear; because this is the only school besides Lancaster in the AV area for beauty, the Director has made it clear how she's not sweating how many student they upset- The money is still flowing in. read more

Last night went to the beauty college in Palmdale. Again I am excited say that the young lady who did my nails is only 3 weeks into her course. She was professional, courteous, bubbly but appropriate. I am so proud of Ms. B who teaches these ladies so excellent, as I heard her give a class in the background. I am taking the manicure class and am almost done! It has been a great experience and I almost wanted to slow it down so I could stay longer. The teacher, Miss Glow, is amazing. She makes class fun and she is super helpful. When she notices one of us is struggling, she makes sure to do one-on-ones with us to help us grow. I have had an amazing time here and am super glad I picked this school over Lancaster Beauty. read more

( 0/5 stars) TERRIBLE!! DO NOT COME HERE. My mom asked for a simple hair cut ( but she got a trim lmao ) and to lighten her hair a bit. All she wanted was her gray hair to grow out naturally. sat here from 3:30PM to 9:00PM . Environment was hectic, everyone was screaming, no one was helping the student doing her hair . Which is probably why it came out this way. It's heartbreaking to see my mother so excited to get her hair done and then it comes out this wayay. If you aren't passionate about your job why even work at this school? What kind of hair stylist leaves a client like this. I guess you get what you paid for... $40 for this. And then they tried to ask her to come back for a second session and spend more money. The one thing she made clear was she didn't want to have multiple sessions just if they had an idea for her gray hair to grow out naturally. We used to come to this school all the time to get haircuts but will NEVER be coming back. Just spend more money and go somewhere nice where people actually care about doing a good job. read more

Manicuring was fun! I am now licensed My Instructor Miss Glow is great she's easy to talk too and ask questions and will go above and beyond for her students. I recommend it over Lancaster beauty for sure they don't answer the phone or have instructors. Miss Glow did great prepping us for state board and whatever help we needed she gave it. The school overall can make a few changes but for the most part it was a breeze and was fun.i highly recommend. read more

I want to thank Ms Lupe for teaching my daughter how to do nails. My daughter has gone from really simple to really amazing nails and I have her to thank. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!! If I could give this school 0 stars I would. I took the manicuring course here and it didn't learn a single thing. All the staff here is really bad and not helpful whatsoever. The teacher is always on her phone or just out of the class and has us performing services without even teaching us how to perform the service. So you're basically on your own. They literally do not teach a thing you basically have to learn on your own. They rather have you taking school clients than actually teaching you how to perform the services. The kit is so bad aswell it's literally so many cheap products that aren't even worth the price. Overall the experience here is really bad the teaching the staff. And you have to use your own products on other clients without getting anything in return. And the staff would get mad if we were to grab a product from the school (aka buffer, files, etc) when it's a school and they're supposed to provide these things. So if you actually want a good school environment and actually want to learn this isn't the school to go to. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in for a haircut yesterday for about 3ish inches and proceeded to not only get about 8 inches chopped off but none of it is even. Plus whilst the haircut was happening there wasn't a single instructor coming over to check that they were okay with what they were doing. The haircut was only about $5 but it's truly a $5 I wish I didn't spend there. read more
